Darj
2 Level 4 monstersThis card cannot be banished from the field. While monsters that would be sent to the Graveyard are being banished instead, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this turn, effects that would destroy a card(s) will banish that card(s) instead. After damage calculation, if this card destroys a monster by battle: You can banish that monster instead of sending it to the Graveyard, and if you do, this card gains 100 ATK. I posted this months ago but I have added a new effect (the second one) and want to know if it is balanced or if it is too much. The first and second effects combined can be simplified as "this card cannot be banished by battle or by card effects". Personally I don't like when a card has 4+ effects, but since the second and third effects rely on other cards to work (banishment cards such as Macro/D.Fissure and destruction cards respectively), I guess the card should be fine. Rulings: This card's third effect basically replaces the word "destroy" on cards/effects with "banish". For instance, the effect of "Dark Hole" becomes "Banish all monsters on the field". As a result, while this effect is active, cards that are unaffected by destruction by card effects (e.g. Midrash, Beelze) would be affected and successfully banished by cards that would normally destroy them. Trivia: The ATK-boost part of the last effect is a reference to this monster eating souls to power herself up. Thoughts?
