Atypical-Abbie
Why should there be limited Defense Position attackers? I say that all of the things should be allowed to attack while in Defense Position! 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 monster in your Graveyard that was used for this card’s Synchro Summon; equip that target to this card. If this card would be destroyed by battle or by your opponent’s card effect, you can destroy the equipped monster instead. Monsters you control can attack while in Defense Position. If they do, apply their DEF during Damage Calculation only.

Darj
Artwork is awesome, LIGHT/Sea Serpent is an uncommon typing and I like it. Revisiting the gimmick of attacking in DEF Position is cool, although Konami beat you in bringing it back with the recent Superheavy Samurais. Anyways, the card looks weak: it is a mere generic Synchro 8 beater that can attack while defending. I would rather go for something like Red Hot Archfiend or Scrap Dragon to remove the opponent's threat(s) before going for a card like this. It does support decks that run Level 4s with 2000+ DEF (e.g. GK Spy, Geargiarmor) or a couple of bigger defensive monsters (e.g. Abyssteus, Arcanite Magician) but running this and finding ways to Summon it just for the sake of those monsters doesn't seem worth it. And running decks loaded with those monsters and dedicated to abuse this card would be unreliable. My suggestions are to protect the monster somehow while it is equipped with the monster (e.g. the equip is destroyed instead), and disable it from gaining half the equipped monster's DEF but in exchange raise its original DEF to at least 2800. That way, it will have a niche in the Synchro 8 cardpool as an attacker-defender with built-in protection. By the way, could you share the source of the artwork? I didn't give it any protection because it can get over 3000 DEF quite easily, which was what I was a bit worried about if it had protection too, but I guess I could make it have a Union-like protection to it and change its DEF a little. I dunno exactly, I have a lot of art work from various places. I believe that this came from this thread: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/304872-a-guide-to-making-cards-card-art-sources/
DisturbedNeo
Design-wise, I think it's an incredibly well made card. Good quality, believable artwork, solid stats, generic synchro, it just looks good. It's not perfect, a couple of things could use tweaks here and there, but I'd give this a solid 9/10, good job. Onto the effect, I always liked Total Defense Shogun as a card. But unfortunately, monsters being able to attack while in defense isn't a useful ability in today's high-speed, swarmy, high-ATK, low DEF format. Most monsters just aren't designed with their defensive capabilities in mind. Maybe the new Pendulum summoning will change that, who knows? I guess what I'm trying to say is that the potential power of this card is limited by the monsters that can utilise it. Having said that, I would like to make a suggestion: How about either dropping it's DEF and allowing it to equip any monster in your Graveyard, OR, if you want it to leave it limited to the synchro materials, maybe let it Special Summon the equipped monster when it's destroyed? So like: "When this card is sent to the Graveyard, while equipped with a monster by this effect: Target that equipped monster in the Graveyard; Special Summon it." That way you can recycle one of the monsters used to summon it. Plus, it gives the player more of a choice of which monster to equip, beyond 'Which one has higher DEF?' I don't really know if I like the whole Special Summon thing, I have never really been a fan of float effects like that. Maybe the equip any for lower DEF might work, but it doesn't matter all that much which you equip, since most things would give it well over 3000 DEF, which is plenty enough to take care of most monsters.
