LORE : Target one Set card your opponent controls.If it was a FLIP monster,Flip it.It's effects are not activated.If it is a Spell/Trap,send it to the Graveyard.That card's effect cannot be activated in response of this card's effect. Lightning Laxus Posted September 8, 2014 Report Share Posted September 8, 2014 But it just reveals the Set Flip Effect Monster... unless you're making it so that the Flip Effect Monster's effects are negated while it is face-down and will still be negated when it is actually flipped face-up, which is kinda pushing YGO to its limits. Regardless of what you've seen, this still amounts to a -1 but can help you maneuver around intimidating backrow. I would recommend also preventing the Set card from activating in response to this card's activation for that extra insurance on a twitchy opponent. LeLukeX Posted September 8, 2014 Report Share Posted September 8, 2014 Target 1 Set Card your opponent controls and apply the appropriate effect depending on the targeted Set Card. - Monster Card: Change that target from face-down Defense Position to face-up Defense Position. -Spell/Trap Card: Send the target to the Graveyard. This card's effect cannot be negated. Your first Lore was actually better. Your first Lore prevented the Targeted Set Card to activate in response to this card's activation, which is a hell of a lot better than anti-negation. Most cards that negate Spell Cards negate the activation. Negating the Activation is not the same as just negating the effect, which means Magic Jammer (and the likes) would still stop this card. Also the opponent can just chain the Targeted card. I strongly recommend you simply stick with your first card lore. If you do, "Your opponent cannot activate the targeted Set Card in response to this card's activation." Would be the lore for that. If you change it back to the first Lore: This card is amazing.
