Spinny
Banish, from your side of the field, exactly 1 Beast-Type monster Fusion Material Monster that is either listed on a Fusion Monster Card or that could be used for as correct Fusion Material, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. After this card resolves, for the rest of this Duel, during each player's End Phase activate only 1 appropriate effect, based on which monster you control. - If you control 1 Fusion monster that was Special Summoned by this card's effect: Return it to the Extra Deck, and if you do, Special Summoned 1 of your banished Beast-Type monster that banished by this effect. - If you control 1 Beast-Type monster that was Banished by this card's effect: Banish it, then Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 Fusion Monster that the banished monster could have been used for as correct Fusion Material. You can only activate "Flicker Of Evolution" Once per turn. Probably needs an OCG fix. Wanted a way to make beast-fusions more worth using but wanted to do it in a interesting way. Thoughts and fixes are appreciated.^^
LeLukeX
Banish, from your side of the field, exactly 1 Beast-Type monster Fusion Material Monster that is either listed on a Fusion Monster Card or that could be used for as correct Fusion Material, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. Konami has never created a card that didn't fully meet the Requirements of the Fusion Monster, that could Special Summon it using a just a "correct" fusion material. They always forced you to have the correct Fusion Material... So I didn't know how to word that "that ... could have been used for as correct Fusion Material" is my best guess. Also I've never seen a card that applied it's effect for the whole Duel simply after it resolves, except Final Countdown (and it's wording doesn't help me in this scenario). So "After this card resolves, for the rest of this Duel, during each player's End Phase activate the appropriate effect, based on which monster you control" is my best guess on that. I also modified the wording a custom, "activate only 1 appropriate effect" instead of "activate the appropriate effect" just in case you have both monsters, this makes it so that you can only activate one, since it is by the way you worded it, once per turn. The card is great, makes it easy to SS a Fusion monster. And really supports Beast-Type monsters. I like the card. It has the tag out effect each end phase, which at first glance is OP, but if your opponent removes the Fusion Monster or Beast-Type monster from the field it kills the tags, which act as a great balancing factor. It has abuse potential with Fusion and Beast type monsters that gain an effect when Summoned "When this card is Summoned: Blah Blah blah", so you should negate it's effect during the turn it is Summoned (since it's the End Phase, it'll get the effects back in the next upcoming turn). Spinny
Ill give it a negate effect later.... Atm there arent many best-fusions, they are mainly beast-warrior i.e gladiator beasts. Since there arent many good beast fusion monsters right now its not really too much of a pressing issue. ATM this card doubles up for support of a number of archetypes which is nice i.e Ojama, Koalas, and King Of The mythical beasts. I will be posting more cards supporting beasts in general in specific areas that arent very strong atm. So if you liked this card you will enjoy my next posts. Still, any advice is appreciated ^^. Edit: All of my beast support i.e this card, is going straight onto DP for people if they want it ^^
Love of Ghibli
I'm confused a little. If you can only special summon the fusion monster using Flicker, what situation would you be in that would force you to do the number 2 option. Other than that I like that you could technically dodge cards by jumping into 4200 beatstick. Sounds noble. The fact that it is not a once per turn card though is the only thing that has me concerned because it sounds like you could turn one direct attack into a series of punishing direct attacks which would not be fair. Spinny
the number 1 option forces the number 2 option during the next end phase. 4200 beatsticks would still only work in a koala deck :P and is easily breakable. One thing that IS concerning, would be the ojamas funnily enough. So for that reason ill put the once per turn clause on it ^^ edited the OCG to what Luke said
