-Dom-
So, thus card won a 1v1 in which the requirement was to make a playable Rank 1 or 2 monster. I went down the anti-Pendulum route, while still being an option against any decks that rely on continuous (or field) spells/traps. This also happens to be the first xyz monster I've made in 300 posts! 2 Level 2 monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to destroy 1 face-up Spell or Trap card on the field. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this effect was used this turn: You can target 1 face-up card in either player's Extra Deck; attach it to this card as a face-up Xyz Material. If this card is destroyed while it has Xyz Material: You can add 1 face-up Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck to your hand. Both votes in the 1v1 said how the card was a bit overpowered, so any possible changes to balance it more, or just any CnC would be awesome! Draconus297
Specifying a face-up card in the Extra Deck is kinda pointless- aren't all cards in the Extra Deck face-up? But seriously, the card doesn't seem to be too bad. There are a lot of workarounds, and while the final effect (of sending a Pendulum back to your hand in case you wanted its Spell Effect) seems a little odd and easy to abuse (what with a loop of reviving it and activating something like Xyz Unit, then killing it yourself to get a Pendulum back), I wouldn't call the card broken. Only pendulums are faceup, the rest are facedown.
Draconus297
In that case, then it's kinda niche, as most Decks still don't carry Pendulum monsters, and even those that do don't use them in force.
Goose
Qliphorts are the top deck right now (in OCG) and are exclusively pendulum monsters. If you run pendulums and rank 2s, this is a perfectly playable card.
