Magic Drain - Is it better now?

Personally (If it does work against pends, which i think it does.) i think its pretty good against them, unless they happen to be qlips then they will probably just be able to discard.

It's a -1 for the opponent regardless of whether you get to negate what you want.

You have 3 MSTs, 3 Dust Tornad, 3 Twister, etc. Those get the job done more reliably against Tool.

Love how everyone saw through the "anti-pendulum" just to mean anti-tool. However, won't this put Tool in the grave where its a lot less useful for the opp?

Tool (well, Qliphs in general) is the only important Pendulum you have to worry about at the moment. Yeah, a Tool in the Graveyard doesn't do your opponent any good, but this has a chance of failing, and you REALLY don't want to let Qliphs get going.

I do run this as an anti-MST tech in my Malefic Train Drain deck, though.
