Summon Armaments

Target 1 monster you control; equip 1 appropriate Equip Spell Card or Union monster from your Deck to that target. If that target would be destroyed, you can destroy the card equipped to that target by this card's effect instead.

 

So yeah, I took a look at those Mermail Equip Spells and realized that would be much better if you could equip them during the opponent's turn for the surprise factor, and came up with this. While I was working on the card, I realized Unions needed some love too, so I included them in the effect.

 

I know that this card apparently outclasses cards such as "Swords at Dawn" or "Roll Out!" but really, most Equip Spells and Unions need the support and I think a card that equips them directly from the deck would take them to next level and give them the chance of becoming relevant. Also, the aforementioned card would still have an use by recycling Equip/Unions from the grave. In other words, this card is certainly faster because it equips from the Deck, but it won't outright replace official cards.

 

On the other hand, Noble Knights are the only relevant deck that play Equip Spells, but I'm not familiar with the archetype so I don't know how much a card like this would benefit them.

I like it.  Noble Knights would like it too a lot I think.  The equip protects them and revive themselves when they die... 

I would use it in many Decks, no complaints or suggestions really. Well Designed IMO
