First of all, I'm new here, I don't keep up with the competitive scene so I don't know if this would fit into any current decks and I'm still a bit unsure about writing proper card text. I read the threads but there's still bound to be some mistakes. I'm just looking for constructive feedback on the general idea of the card, if it doesn't fit into this thread, feel free to move it, remove it, etc.

Now then, the idea of this monster is having a cheap and effective way of removing your opponent's monsters. I've noticed a growing amount of monsters that are unaffected by traps/spells or are able to negate them, but they are still weak to stat superior cards, which is where this card comes in.

In exchange for the 'free' removal you get, any battle damage that this card would inflict becomes 0. I also made another stronger version of the card that would prevent it from attacking directly instead, but is still able to cause damage through battle. I figured the weaker the card the more likely it is to be fair, so I kept this version. This card is also obviously vulnerable to spells/traps/monster effects so I don't consider it overpowered myself.

this is actually pretty decent

it can be normal summoned without tribute without losing its stat like barbaros/fusilier in exchange it inflict no battle damage

can be useful in rank 7 deck, since its easily summoned and its atk is high enough to take out some lockdown monster such as el shaddoll winda, vanity's and majesty's fiend (even though its suicide)

and i think the effect wording should be like this:

You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, if you do, Your opponent take no battle damage

from battles involving this card.

Pretty decent. In a game filled with Special Summons and anti-Special Summons, very few expect to be able to deal with a no-Tribute Normal Summon 2400 ATK monster, even if it carries a downside of them not taking damage, with the exception of universal removal that would normally be best saved for other threats.

In a Skill Drain beatdown Deck, it's not as strong as Fusilier or Barbaros, but it can still pull enough weight without the key cards around.

Beauty in simplicity.

Slightly too strong if it can kill things in battle. The ability to control the field and remove enemy monsters for a Normal Summon is powerful, and 2400 catches a lot of Xyzes. On top of which it is a LIGHT Warrior...I think it needs some additional drawback.
