[align=center]I present the Dual Type Spell and Trap Cards. By Dual Type, I mean that in the deck, hand, and graveyard they are treated as 2 types simultaneously (whichever 2 type symbols they have on them). When they get activated, however, you choose one or the other and set it as that type while it remains on the field. Depending on the choice you make, the card will do slightly different things.

 

So, without further ado, I present the Dual Type S/T Cards

I spent forever trying to get the colors to match up around the symbol area, but I couldn't seem to get it to look smooth.

 

If anybody can show me how to smooth out the edges around the symbols part, I would be eternally grateful and would give you 2 reps.

 

Please leave comments and constructive criticism so I can improve them ^_^

I don't know if I'll ever get them smooth. I spent hours working on them' date=' and nothing I tried fixed the shifted look that they have. I just don't know enough about image editing/my image editor to actually succeed.

 

Dude these cards rock I haven't seen anything like them. I am not good at grammar but I think everything is correct. The names are cool the pics are awesome what can I give you 0/10 haha no way dude 11/10. Keep up the good work (T-Up)

EDIT: Updated the cards with Set IDs so they didn't have random hanging hyphens in that area :P

Hey dude look back at my sets and you'll see that in my ritual set' date=' I wanted it to be a ritual spell but continous so I put both, it wad great fun.

Very nice, a set like this is gonna go far ..

Oh, ok. I'll have to take a look at those. Well, I won't claim it as original anymore then, but I hope I at least did them well :P

This totally redifines the game for me! Now there is less chance of having a Dead card in your Hand as you can activate 1 of 2 Effects! Always remember to keep them balanced though, and make both effects equal in usefulness.

 

It's ideas like this that makes me smile, Something out of the Ordinary. Something Very Special!

Yaay!! Redefinition rocks :D

 

Yes, it does decrease the likely-hood of having a dead draw, that's the main idea behind the cards. I try to keep them balanced, and I'm pretty sure that all of these are. If they aren't, please let me know how to fix them.

Well, with monsters it's easier cuz the card maker can make them that way already, and you don't need any extra explaining in the card text, but I still like the idea of having 2 effects per card and being able to use either one depending on the situation.

Chest of Riches is ridiculously overpowered. The others look okay.

 

With all the S/T destruction out there right now, is it really that overpowered? The longer you leave it out if you pick continuous, the higher the chance that it will be destroyed and you get nothing. I thought it was pretty balanced, but if you can think of a way of rewording it to balance it out, then by all means let me know.

The quick-play version ALONE is overpowered. You've just reduced the minimum deck size to 37 cards.

 

The continuous version isn't really broken, though it could be abused in something like CO Burn.
