Rise of the Pocket Monsters (A Pokemon Set) [4/?]

Hey, so I'm super hype for ORAS, especially when my bro Beedrill got announced, so I made a Pokemon Set. Of course the first set is the Beedrill line. I'll add my Rotom cards I made a while ago here as well.

 

[SPOILER=Beedrill Line]

You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard: Special Summon up to 2 "Weedle the Weaks" from your hand or Deck. This card can only be used for the Special Summon of Insect-type monsters. During your Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-type monster from your Deck to your hand.This card must be face-up on the field to activate and to resolve this effect. You can only use this effect of "Weedle the Weak" once per turn.

 

 

If you control a face-up "Weedle the Weak": You can Tribute it to Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. Once per turn: This card cannot be destroyed. During your End Phase: Increase this card's DEF by 500. If an Insect-type Xyz Monster you control would be destroyed: You can banish this card from your Graveyard instead..

 

 

2 Level 3 monsters

If this card was Xyz Summoned with 2 Insect-type monsters: Attach 1 Insect-type monster from your hand, Deck. or Graveyard to this card as an Xyz Material. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. Insect-type monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to this card. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Increase this card's ATK by 1000 until the End Phase. 

 

 

2 Level 5 Insect-type monsters

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a face-up "P015 - Beedrill the Furious" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Increase the original ATK of all face-up Insect-type monsters you control by 700. During either player's Battle Phase, when this card attacks or is attacked: You can detach any number of Xyz Material from this card; Increase this card's ATK by 1000 for each Xyz Material detached this way until the end of the Battle Phase. If this card has "P015 - Beedrill the Furious" this card gains the following effect

 - This card can attack twice per turn, and if this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent.

Wow, these are really good! I could definitely see these working in an insect beatdown deck. One thing I would say is get rid of the pokebeach wordmark on the Weedle and Kakuna cards if you can. It looks off.

Thank you for the rate! And yeah, I need to get better art for Weedle and Kakuna. I'll probably get around to doing that tomorrow - it's pretty late where I'm at.

EDIT: I'll use this post to mention that I'll probably be starting with the new ORAS Mega Pokemon, then adding my Rotom set, then doing the rest of the Megas.

You're welcome! Also maybe get better art of Beedrill as well, it looks kinda distorted. Mega Beedrill looks great though.

 

Personally what I think would be more interesting to see is a pokemon insect beatdown deck. I like seeing more completed archetypes than a bunch of monsters with individual effects. But either way, I'm looking forward to whatever you put out next.
