Peridank
I made this card while back and was hoping for opinions... I just fixed up the OCG a bit. No OCG fix is needed... thank you... :) More CnC pls <
Darj
Suggested OCG fix: When a monster on your side of the field is sent to the Graveyard: Banish that monster, then target 1 monster on the field with the same original Type as the banished monster; that target gains ATK and DEF equal to original ATK and DEF of the banished monster, and if it does, you take damage equal to the Level/Rank of the banished monster x 400. If you don't want the banished monster to touch the graveyard at all, then I suggest: If a monster on your side of the field would be sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 monster on the field with the same original Type as that monster; banish that monster instead of sending it the Graveyard, and if you do, that target gains ATK and DEF equal to original ATK and DEF of the banished monster. Then, you take damage equal to the Level/Rank of the banished monster x 400. Anyways, the card is not great in my opinion. It merely grants an ATK/DEF boost, which is lackluster in a metagame where effect removal is the norm and beaters are rarely a threat except when they are backed up by protection. Then, it can only target monsters with the same type so it can only be used effectively in "mono-type" decks. It's not exactly useless, however. The boost can be quite high if you banish a big monster, or if you target a monster under some sort of protection (built-in, or gained through other card's effects), your opponent may have a difficult time dealing with it; but both cases would be somewhat situational, since you need both this card and either a big monster or a protected target at the same time to set things up. In short, the card is fine but not great, and I suppose it would be a decent side Deck card vs. beatdown decks.
Peridank
Thanx... tht's what I was going for a bit. It was manly designed for Zombie Decks tho. As in to avoid the fact they have low stats most of the time. It sides mostly with Zombie World tho, as being monsters become more... eh... vulnerable to the effect. Nightmare Stomper
You can remove the rank restriction to allow a free loophole to this effect. That would somewhat increase its viability meta-game. :) nice card btw. I'd love it in earthbound zombies.
Peridank
Thanx... in all honesty it wouldn't work in earth bound originally tho. But with changes I made... it should. That helped the card ALOT lol. So thx again! :D Changes Made
