Out of ALL the arguments you could have pulled, you choose the one that has been debunked HUNDREDS of times. The wage gap exists NOT because of employers paying women less, but because women work in and choose jobs that pay less ANYWAY. Every other point you listed does have SOME merit. Some far less than others, but they still have some merit. But for EVERY point you bring up about women being inequal, I can bring up a point that shows that men are as well. NEITHER gender is superior to the other as a whole, but they definitely have their own niche issues. Nevermind the fact that 2/3rds of the points you brought up only last for the 4 years that is high school, which basically disappear once real life hits. And guess what? GUYS HAVE HIGH SCHOOL ISSUES TOO. Especially with the MASSIVE amounts of stupidity towards sexual harassment in schools that basically gives high school and college age boys 0 rights when it comes down to it. Feminism is NOT about 'women being equal to men' it is about both genders being equal to EACH OTHER. This world favors men in some areas, but it also HEAVILY favors women in others. Your treatment of women as fragile little glass figurines that need to be protected from the big dumb cavemen is not helping your case, it is hurting it. Badly. Most of you on this page have all been belligerent towards each other for no reason, and just to let you know, getting angry at someone does not help your point nor does it help others understand your point of view. Please stop. Catcalling itself can be rude and obnoxious, although ideally people should be able to just ignore it. However, in certain places, the social situation for women is bad, and it can be an especially awful thing to do. Note that this difference in geographical and cultural area can create a difference in perspective on the adverse effects of catcalling. Well, maybe you're fine with being a barbie doll, but not everyone is. And come on, people, is it really so hard to have a calm discussion without attacking people or feeling attacked? There are lots of problems in this world, okay? Kony is capturing children, making the males fight, and is raping the females. People of color on average get a lower salary. America is so full of itself its terrorizing the Middle East because of one successful terrorist attack. America is importing everything instead of making their own money, so America has a lot of debt. Men who can't control their boners have to worry about getting one in public, women have to worry about getting their period in the middle of the day. Men have to worry about getting beat up at night and women have to worry about getting raped. Its almost impossible to cater to society as everyone has their own feelings and ideas, so stop generalizing things and people. There are so many problems in this world, its impossible to focus on one as worse than another. Any problem in this world is a damn bad problem, and the only thing we can really do is try and fix our own, or hide from our own to fix others. And seriously, this is the internet, stop acting superior to each other. We're all people. No one is better than the other. We all have strengths and weaknesses to balance each other out.
