DivineDragonKnight
Draw 3 cards. During your the 2nd Standby Phase after activation: banish this card. If this card leaves the field, (expect by it's own effect) banish all cards from your hand face-down. While this card is face-up on the field, you cannot win the Duel by the effect of "Exodia, the Forbidden One". Would you try this card? Modified. Trebuchet MS
While I agree getting 3 cards requires a severe drawback to counterbalance the card, giving the opponent the ability to make you lose instantly after seeing (and exasperatedly sighing at) what you've done is too big a drawback. Any single card that grants the opponent the opportunity to decide the immediate outcome of the Duel is generally not very well-designed, because who would willingly do something that allows their opponent to choose when to defeat them? Water down the drawback. Make it something like your entire hand getting banished face-down if this card leaves the field except by its own effect. bloorocksDotD
I would run this as-is and then summon Spell Canceller, then it negates this card's effects and if you set dark bribe and fiendish then your opp really can't do much against it and you got 3 free cards. And since it's negated you can win with exodia. But an instant lose is kinda severe, but banishing your whole hand face-down is almost worse IMO. I suggest maybe changeing it to: If this card leaves the field (except by its own effect) discard all cards in your hand (their effects, if any, are negated) and skip your next draw phase. Radiant F.U.R.Y.™
I see what you're trying to do here. I recently attempted to make a draw 3 card. Opinions were mixed about it too. The banish hand drawback can be avoided too easily...maybe make the first sentence say something like Draw 3 cards, place this card on top of your Deck, and skip your next Draw Phase. Then you can add the "Each player can only activate 1 "Risk of the Greed" per Duel. That means you get +2 for the original draw effect and -2 for the missed draw phase and mandatory dead-draw
DivineDragonKnight
I did't want to make another reckless greed. Today, a lot of cards can destroy spells/traps, you opponent can easily destroy this card, as well your hand. So that's why this card is a risk. Radiant F.U.R.Y.™
i say it can be avoided b/c a lot of decks can easily empty their hands in 1 turn. Play this and draw 3...then unleash combo and end turn with empty hand also localized tornado makes this card a free 3 cards because any cards left in your hand get shuffled into the deck
