VampireofDarkness Posted November 24, 2014 Report Share Posted November 24, 2014 Seeing as I made a Ritual Spell attempting to support DARKs and how I was participating in an Arc V RP where a Dark Counterpart user with Rituals was at play, I thought it would work to attempt to take a few steps forward. Your lower level monsters become quick combo pieces which tag off of either the effects of your Rituals or the amount of milling you are doing. From testing this Deck, you usually are trying to play a Control game while you assemble all your combo pieces for your winning play. When you have everything to "go off", you usually have enough protection to make those plays and maintain the rest of your field for your massive push. I'd compare it to Lightsworn a few formats before they got the Structure Deck. CnC is well appreciated, as I attempted to keep these in check the best I could. NOTE: Grandmaster of the Darkness and Darkness Invitation were done by -Noel- from a 1v1 a few months ago. However, they have been a big factor in the cards I've made and fit into the set too well, so they are included with their permission. [Spoiler Effect Monsters] [Spoiler Dark Senju] 4/DARK/Fairy 1400/1000 When this card is Summoned: you can add 1 DARK Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. During the End Phase, if this card was Tributed for the Ritual Summon of a DARK monster or if this card was discarded or banished by or to activate the effect of a DARK monster this turn, you can target 1 DARK monster in you Graveyard; Add 1 DARK monster from your Deck to your hand with the same level, but a different name. You can only activate this effect of "Dark Senju" once per turn. [/spoiler] [Spoiler Sonic Dark Bird] 4/DARK/Winged Beast 1400/1000 While this card is in the Graveyard, it is also treated as a WIND monster in addition to its original Attribute. When this card is Summoned, you can add 1 Ritual Spell Card that Ritual Summons a DARK or "Dark" monster from your Deck to your hand. During the End Phase, if this card is used for the Ritual Summon of a DARK monster or if this card was discarded or banished by or to activate the effect of a DARK monster, you can target 1 banished DARK monster you control whose Level is equal to or lower than that of the Ritual monster or monster whose effect was activated using this card, except "Sonic Dark Bird"; Add that target to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Sonic Dark Bird" once per turn. [/spoiler] [Spoiler Dark Manju] 4/DARK/Fairy 1400/1000 When this card is summoned, you can activate one of the following effects: - Reveal 1 DARK Ritual Monster in your hand. Add 1 Ritual Spell Card listed on that monster from your Deck to your hand - Reveal 1 "Dark" or "Darkness" Ritual Spell Card. Add 1 Ritual Monster that lists that Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. During the End Phase, if this card was Tributed for the Ritual Summon of a DARK monster or if this card was discarded or banished by or to activate the effect of a DARK monster this turn, you can target 1 DARK Ritual Monster or 1 "Dark" or "Darkness" Ritual Spell Card sent to the Graveyard this turn; Add that target to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Dark Manju" once per turn. You can discard this card, target 1 DARK monster you control and banish 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard. (If it is a Rank, treat its Rank as a Level) It cannot declare an attack nor be used as a Synchro or Xyz material, and is returned to your hand during the End Phase. When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects: If this card is Synchro Summoned: It gains 800 ATK for each "Dark" monster in your Graveyard with a different name. (max 4000 ATK) When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard, if this card had 4000 ATK, you can Special Summon "Dark" monsters from your Graveyard whose total levels equal 10 or lower, but they are banished when they leave the field. You can only use this effect of "Drascension the Dragon of the Dark Sky" once per turn. I never thought about it being useful with Strike Ninja. I actually was thinking about comboing it off with Dark Grepher and with the Level 4 Ritual ~Noel~ made that I used for the RP, (That basically was a Stratos for "Dark" monsters Ex. Dark Grepher, Dark Horus, Dark Nephytys) you would be able to maintain a hand on top of your probably mighty field presence. In essence, it makes decently leveled Rituals less Glass Cannon-Esque without being Nekroz crazy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
