Okay here is Banette with Mega Evolution. All images belong to their owners.

Edit: Thank you for the fix, I've realized on what you just say. Now I buffed it a bit and rearrange the effect a bit.

[spoiler= Number 354: Banette, Marionette of Darkness]

2 or more Level 4 DARK monsters (max. 5)
All monsters your opponent currently controls must attack this card this turn, if able. When this card is targeted for an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the attack, choose 1 random card in your opponent's hand; that card must remain revealed while it is in your opponent's hand, also it cannot be Set or activated on the field. You can only control 1 "Number 354: Banette, Marionette of Darkness" on the field.

3 or more Level 5 DARK monsters (max. 5)
All monsters your opponent currently controls must attack this card this turn, if able. When this card inflicts damage to your opponent; target 1 face-up card on the field, and if you do, that target cannot activate it's effect or declare an attack. If this card has "Number 354: Banette, Marionette of Darkness" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.

I don't see the point of this disclaimer when you don't provide the link or name of said owner. I think you should give credit to the artist either in the OP or in the card itself.

Anyways, both versions look weak because their main effects rely entirely on the opponent. I mean, the opponent can simply not attack Banette to avoid triggering its effect, so the lock effects are, in a way, pointless as they only discourage the opponent from attacking it. The effect might as well read "this card cannot be targeted for an attack". And yes, there are cards that force the opponent to attack, but when a card relies on other cards to be useful, it becomes less practical.

And worse, the opponent can play around it by getting rid of its hand first (e.g. setting all of its Spell/Traps) and then proceed to attack Banette with impunity.

By the way, I think the hand effect would conflict with rulings/card mechanics because, if I remember correctly, since the hand is not public information (or something like that) the game cannot keep track of the card you chose. Yes, realistically both players will know which card you chose, but, to put it simply, the "game" (so to speak) wouldn't be able to tell which was the selected card. This can be fixed easily though: just simply add in the effect that the selected card must remain revealed in your opponent's hand; that way, it becomes public knowledge and both players and the "game" (or the "system", whatever) can track it with no problems. Revealing the card also helps in the case the opponent draws/searches another copy of the targeted card and attempts to use it.

So, my suggestion it to remove the effect's reliance on the opponent, perhaps by turning it into an OPT effect, and also include the revealing of the selected card as part of the effect:

"choose 1 random card in your opponent's hand; that card must remain revealed while it is in your opponent's hand, also it cannot be Set or activated on the field."
