[Artifact Ignition] vs. MST

Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, Set 1 "Artifact" monster directly from your Deck to your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Spell Card. If this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card: Your opponent skips their next Battle Phase. (You must have an "Artifact" monster in your Main Deck to activate this card.)

I once tested copies of this in the Sanctum engine but I didn't like them because they took out Sanctum targets from the deck, clogged my Spell/Trap Zones and it felt as more of a "combo piece" in the engine, so in the end decided to stick with MSTs. However, recently I have found decks with the Sanctum engine and maining x3 Ignition along with it.

For those who have tested Ignitions, how have they worked for you?

Actually, I would like to discuss ratios of Ignition/MST and Double Cyclone, the latter being helpful with making those Artifacts dead drawn and/or Set by Ignition live. For instance, x2 Ignition/x2 Cyclone looks like a good ratio, at least on paper: Ignition can make Cyclones live, and at 2 you have more chances of drawing into Cyclone earlier to fix any dead drawn Artifact. Also, 1 less Ignition than the x3 I have seen means less Artifacts being taken out from the Deck.

I suppose x3 Ignition/x2 Cyclone could work as well, but maining 5 backrow removers feel like an overkill.

Discuss Artifact Ignition, and backrow removal ratios in the Sanctum engine.

Yes, Ignition combos with Beagaltach and enables power plays such as the one you described. But the issue is that without Beagaltach or Sanctum at hand, Ignition cannot work properly, which is why I mention if feels as a "combo piece". Also, instead of hitting an opponent's Spell/Trap with Ignition, you are spending the card pop on your own Beagaltach; then again, you are essentially trading an Spell/Trap Card pop with a face-up card pop by bringing Moraltach, so that's not really a big issue, I guess.
