Tesability Black Posted December 6, 2014 Report Share Posted December 6, 2014 Alright, first of all, this is a set I started working on almost a decade ago, so I'd be miraculously surprised if it could hold its own against the current meta as-is. This set was supposed to accompany a story I had been working on those years back, but couldn't figure out past the first chapters of. The set focuses on two ideas, the Collective Consciousness and Individuality. At first, all was the same, all was one. A hive mind, in sense. With this level of sameness was peace, no reason for conflicts. Though all were the same, there was one that stood out in a hidden way as the 'leader' of the hive, One the Collective Consciousness. At one point, however, one of his subjects had a thought that strangely wasn't shared with the rest of the world upon thought. It is unknown what that thought was now, but this one being was transformed, transformed from the dragons that everyone else was to a fiery kitsune. One approached the transformed being and commanded that the being revert back. The transformed one's words? "I won't." With this simple sentence, the realm that is now known as the Imagination Realms shattered into many, with many of the dragons transforming into varying things and bringing chaos into order. Beside the kitsune was a new soul that was created, a constant shapeshifter. This new being was I and the kitsune became known as You. This set works in two ways, depending on if you're with the Collective Consciousness or the Heart of Imagination. ~On One's side, cards are focused on powering up others whose PRINTED Attribute/Type combination is DARK Dragon-type. Effects don't matter with these guys, what's on the card itself is what these guys focus on. While does have a Field that turns all into DARK Dragon-type monsters, those with the printed Attribute/Type combination benefit the most from these cards. ~On You's side, this is admittedly the more-fleshed out side at the moment, cards on his side of the fight benefit when no two monsters share the same Attribute/Type combination. This means that no two monsters are both the same Attribute and Type at the same time. A perfect example of this is the Crystal Beasts. These guys have the Imagination Realm Continuous Spells, unique spells that could be placed in the Field Spell Zone instead of the normal Spell/Trap zones. Various monsters have effects that go off depending on which of the Imagination Realm cards are in the Field Zone. Name: The Realm Master Attribute: DARK Level: 10 Type: Fairy/Fusion/Effect Effect: "I, the Individual Thought" + "You, the Heart of Imagination" This card increases its ATK/DEF by 500 for every "Imagination Realm" card with a different name on your side of the field. This card's Attribute is treated as the Attribute first written in the card text of an "Imagination Realm" card in your Field Spell Zone. Otherwise, this card has no Attribute. ATK: 3500 DEF: 3500 Name: You, the Heart of Imagination Attribute: Fire Level: 8 Type: Beast/Effect Effect: Once during each of your turns, you may select an Attribute and a Type. This card's Attribute and Type are treated as the selected Attribute/Type combination. As long as this card is face up on the field, monsters you control that are not the same Attribute/Type combination as this monster may attack directly. ATK: 2100 DEF: 2600 Name: I, the Individual Thought Attribute: LIGHT Level: 4 Type: Beast/Spirit Effect: Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand. This card's ATK/DEF are equal to half of its controller's LP, rounded down. This card's Attribute is treated as the first Attribute written in the card text of each "Imagination Realm" card you control. Otherwise, this card has no Attribute. ATK: ???? DEF: ???? Name: Army of One Attribute: DARK Level: 10 Type: Dragon Effect: "One, the Collective Consciousness" + "We, the Hive Collective" This card's name is treated as "One, the Collective Consciousness" while face-up on the field. Only monsters with the printed Attribute/Type combination of DARK Dragon-type on either side of the field may attack. ATK: 4000 DEF: 4000 Name: One, the Collective Consciousness Attribute: DARK Level: 8 Type: Dragon Effect: This card's ATK/DEF increases by 500 for every DARK Dragon-type monster on either side of the field. When this card is Normal Summoned, destroy all "Imagination Realm" Spell cards on your opponent's side of the field. When this monster destroys a DARK Dragon-type monster by battle: If the destroyed monster's printed Attribute/Type combination was not DARK Dragon-type, this monster can attack once more. ATK: 2500 DEF: 2500 Name: We, the Hive Collective Attribute: DARK Level: 2 Type: Dragon Effect: As long as "One, the Collective Consciousness" is face-up on the field, this card's original ATK/DEK is 3000. ATK: 300 DEF: 300 Name: Imagination Beast - Forest Phoenix Attribute: EARTH Level: 7 Type: Winged Beast/Effect Effect: The Attribute of this monster cannot be changed. As long as this card is face-up on the field, monsters you control are not destroyed by battle. If "Imagination Realm - Treetops" is in the Field Spell Zone, this card's original ATK is 3000. ATK: 2000 DEF: 3000 Name: Imagination Beast - Bone Sylph Attribute: DARK Level: 3 Type: Beast/Effect Effect: The Attribute of this monster cannot be changed. As long as this card is face-up on the field, you do not have to pay LP to activate a card effect. If "Imagination Realm - Graveyard" is in the Field Spell Zone, increase this card's ATK by 200 for every monster in either Player's Graveyard. ATK: 700 DEF: 500 Name: Imagination Beast - Enlightened Sinner Attribute: LIGHT Level: 4 Type: Fiend/Effect Effect: The Attribute of this monster cannot be changed. As long as this card is face-up on the field, this card is also treated as a Fairy-type monster. If "Imagination Realm - Graveyard" is in the Field Spell Zone, during each of your Standby Phases, increase your LP by 300 for every Fairy-type monster on your side of the field. ATK: 1200 DEF: 1500 Name: Imagination Beast - Lava Fish Attribute: FIRE Level: 4 Type: Fish/Effect Effect: The Attribute of this monster cannot be changed. As long as this card is face-up on the field, your opponent recieves 500 damage whenever you recieve Effect Damage. If "Imagination Realm - Volcano" is in the Field Spell Zone, you may pay 1000 LP to destroy one of your opponent's monsters. ATK: 1700 DEF: 1200 Name: Imagination Beast - Water Serpent Attribute: WATER Level: 6 Type: Sea Serpent/Effect Effect: The Attribute of this monster cannot be changed. As long as this card is face-up on the field, whenever one of your monsters is attacked, flip a coin. If heads, negate the attack. If "Imagination Realm - Ocean" is in the Field Spell Zone, your opponent may not attack directly. ATK: 1900 DEF: 2300 Name: Imagination Beast - Winged Guardian Attribute: DARK Level: 3 Type: Beast/Effect Effect: The Attribute of this monster cannot be changed. As long as this card is face-up on the field, your opponent must discard a card from their hands during their Standby Phase. If "Imagination Realm - City" is in the Field Spell Zone, if this card is attacked, your opponent must discard a card from their hand. ATK: 1000 DEF: 1000 Name: Concept of "I" Type: Equip Spell Effect: This card can only be equipped to "I, the Individual Thought" while "You, the Heart of Imagination" is face-up on your side of the field. The equipped monster does not return to its owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn it was summoned. When either this card or "You, the Heart of Imagination" is removed from the field, return the equipped monster to its owner's hand. Name: Realm of You Type: Field Spell Effect: At the beginning of each Player's turn, they may choose to change the Attribute/Type combination of each monster. Monsters may not share the same Attribute/Type combination as another monster on either side of the field. Name: Realm of One Type: Field Spell Effect: All monsters on the field are treated as DARK Dragon-type monsters and may not change their Attribute/Type combination. Name: Imagination Realm - Treetops Type: Continuous Spell Effect: This card may be placed in the Field Spell Zone instead of one of your Spell/Trap Card Zones. EARTH monsters you control increase their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. If this card is in the Field Spell Zone, WIND monsters your opponent controls decrease their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. Name: Imagination Realm - Graveyard Type: Continuous Spell Effect: This card may be placed in the Field Spell Zone instead of one of your Spell/Trap Card Zones. Name: Imagination Realm - Volcano Type: Continuous Spell Effect: This card may be placed in the Field Spell Zone instead of one of your Spell/Trap Card Zones. FIRE monsters you control increase their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. If this card is in the Field Spell Zone, WATER monsters your opponent controls decrease their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. Name: Imagination Realm - Ocean Type: Continuous Spell Effect: This card may be placed in the Field Spell Zone instead of one of your Spell/Trap Card Zones. WATER monsters you control increase their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. If this card is in the Field Spell Zone, FIRE monsters your opponent controls decrease their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. Name: Imagination Realm - City Type: Continuous Spell Effect: This card may be placed in the Field Spell Zone instead of one of your Spell/Trap Card Zones. WIND monsters you control increase their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. If this card is in the Field Spell Zone, EARTH monsters your opponent controls decrease their ATK by 500 and their DEF by 300. Name: Imagination Flash Type: Quick-Play Spell Effect: Destroy 1 card on the field for each "Imagination Realm" Spell Card with a different name you control. If you control six "Imagination Realm" Spell Cards with different names, you may discard this card and destroy all "Imagination Realm" Spell Cards you control to banish all cards on your opponent's side of the field and in your opponent's hand.
