Fake burial

Sorry I dont have any design for the card

Fake Burial
Continuous Trap card
Any monster that would leave the field is considered to be destroyed by battle.

This card is meant to be anti-meta,leaving,for example hieratics effectless when tributed in the field, but can also be used as a support, for example with yubel monsters (If they are bounced, they still get the summon)
As with skill drain,I'm pretty aware that this card needs rulings,so here it goes:
-Stardust Dragon can negate a destruction effect, but wont be able to return(that can be applied to any card that ask tributing as a cost)
-If a set monster card is bounced back/banished face down, the monster is revealed and his effect(s) can/will be used
-As always, leaving the field, leaves the returning to deck as exception.
-When a madolche Monster leaves the field, they will always come back to the deck.
-When you xyz summon, the monsters WILL be considered to be destroyed by battle, but cant have their effects activated.
-Starlight Road can be used. The monsters are only considered being destroyed by battle after being destroyed
Any help with my card? Maybe a 1000Lp activation cost?

Cards like these which tamper with game mechanics have a tendency to create a large amount of rulings regarding what triggers when. But I see you've already thought this through a little and addressed these things.

However, I think modifying any means of leaving the field is too wide a scope to tamper with. Not to mention the fact that monsters being "destroyed by battle" outside the Battle Phase calls the concept of missing the timing to attention more than ever. Can walls like Marshmallon be Tributed, Fused, Synch'd, or Xyz'd? Or will the monster be brought out but they still stay on the field (which will break them even harder than ever)?

At the very least, I suggest that you sharply reduce the scope of mechanics to tamper with. Something like this:

Any monster that would leave the field is destroyed by a card effect is instead treated as if it were considered to be destroyed by battle.

This reduces the number of ridiculous situations you need to immediately address with rulings, letting players better understand what the card can and can't do just by looking at and reading its card text.

A card needing rulings to address very specific situations of how it interacts isn't a bad thing, but when it needs a whole lot of them to fully clarify how it works on an average basis, there's a problem.

Uhm...I read the suggested lore, but its quite underpowered.I want this card to be a situation changer, quite like skill drain
How about:

Any monster that leaves the field is considered to be destroyed by battle

That way,the card would imply that in order to be considered destroyed by battle, the card must have alredy left the field

How does this effect spirits and such? As said leaving the field in general can be put to ridiculous... Looking at this card... You can make a game changer... Like: Once per turn, when a monster you control is destroyed by battle and is sent to the graveyard, you can activate this effect: Add that monster to your hand. Now going for a field wide dispute... Well I suggest going for the previous suggestion... It really isn't all that underpowered... Imo

The cards always go to where they should. But if the card has any effect that triggers when destroyed by battle, they activate. For example,if you compulsory a mystic tomato,he will come back to hand, and activate his effect. In other words,he comes to the hand being considered destroyed by battle.
So I dont see any trouble with Spirits.
And regards comboing this card...yes,they can make nasty combos that plus with this card. But thats what yugioh is about.
