Hydra Iron Man
This card can only be equipped to "Ninja" or "Shinobi" Monsters. The equipped Monster gains 500 ATK for each Monster it destroyed. If the equipped Monster destroys another Monster, gain 500 Life Points. If this card leaves the field, Banish 2 cards that you control and pay 1000 Life Points. I know how people might see that this is very specific to a single Arch-Type, but I am making a series of Shinobi Monsters. Constructive Criticism is approved. Trebuchet MS
Does the equip count retroactively, i.e. can you destroy a monster by battle first, then equip this card, and still get an ATK boost? Does the equip also include the equipped monster destroying other monsters by its effects?
Hydra Iron Man
Yes and yes. It includes any monster destroyed by battle or by its effect. Any monsters still destroyed prior to activating this card count.
Trebuchet MS
Won't this mean more effort on the players' behalf to keep track of something they never needed to track before? Granted, the average monster life expectancy in Yugioh is rather short so the prior destruction count is usually miniscule, but do you keep track of how many cards are destroyed by a monster on an average basis? Hydra Iron Man
Eh. I do not really know. Is it too hard to memorize?
The Seventh Samurai
In addition to Gadjiltron's point, I think the LP damaging effect is simply unnecessary. Take that out completely and the card is still far from overpowered. If you leave it in, I'd boost up the positive effects a bit. Also, if you do want to leave it in, you might use counters to make it easier to track things.
Hydra Iron Man
Okay! Done. I upped the downside of it but then I boosted the LP gain and the ATK boost. So, its okay?
