If this card is Normal Summoned, you can Banish 1 non-LIGHT or DARK monster from your Graveyard: Add 1 Level 1, 3, 5, or 7 Insect-Type monster from your Deck to your hand with the same Attribute as the Banished monster. If this card is destroyed by your Opponent's card(either by battle or card effect), you can Discard 1 Spell card: During your next Standby Phase, you can Special Summon up to 2 "Oddity-Beetle"s from your Deck. This card cannot be used as a Synchro or Xyz Material, except for the Synchro or Xyz Summon of an Insect-Type monster.

This card, for the most part, was done as a request by someone I was chatting with the other day, to which, I had also proposed the idea of Insects potentially getting away with something like Mermaid Shark.
I mean, lets be honest... Aside from Inzektors, and, like, a few 1-off cards(Myrmeleo, Maxx "C", etc), Insects honestly don't even have anything going for them. Yea, they have some random/fun cards like Grasschopper, Poseidon Giant Beetle, etc, but those cards in question are hardly touchable in the deck. etc. etc. You get the idea.
It's a WIND with 1500/1000, meaning it's ideally at the center of, like, all of the various searchers Insects have; Howling Insect, Gokipon, Danipon, Flying Kamakiri, etc, etc...
The floating effect is cuz' it can be pro and make Giga Brilliant live.
