goddamnit names are a pain
Never really thought that Melodious would become a fusion deck. Trust me, at this rate…they won't. As it should be, unless they put something on the table that's more powerful than a lockdown and somehow easy to do. Which is really…not likely, imo. Still got the other Fusion they have which hasn't been revealed yet, plus potentially some future support. I expect that they might get their own Poly card. Neutrality Man
this deck already has an established style, and this card does fit into that effect wise via built-in protection/special summon bonuses. But the problem I have with this card is that it's a fusion. the rest of it is actually pretty marvelous, but melodious don't feel like fusion monsters to me, they feel far closer to pendulum/synchro monsters. Agreed. Few things are more terrifying than a Hyper-Buffed Avenging Knight Parshath in Melodious. 2600 piercer that can force-rotate an enemy before Battle Phase +1500 from 3 DEF pos Serenades (protected by Aria, and from mirror force by Defpos)= 4100 piercer with forced-rotate +1000 from Vylon Prism used as the Tuner = 5100 piercing LIGHT with forced-rotation. Throw in a Safe Zone and Imperial Custom for good measure. Since your Aria won't protect AKP Incredibly specific? Yes. Heavy on resources? 7 (9 if going with Pendulum to swarm them out) card investment, Yes. Satisfying to actually pull the **** off? You bet your ass. Rather I am guessing a Archetype specific Polymerization with an additional Graveyard banush effect.

I suppose, though I doubt that is what is going to happen, Yuzu hasn't used Call of the Haunted, so it's not really what they are going for I don't think.
