Monarch King
Banish the top card from your Deck, face-down. During your opponent's next End Phase after this card's activation, add that card to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Dark Sarcophagus" per turn. Some tips/rulings: Neither player can see what card is banished. The card is banished face-down immediately from the top of your Deck. Card effect like Rulers, DD Scout Plane obviously cannot be activated. Ι created this because i always liked the mystery cards, It has enough suspense because you don't know what card will you get except if you have used the other eff of Lavalval Chain etc;
-Griffin
So it's a delayed draw? I think I'd rather use Upstart Goblin/Jar of Greed almost always. When do you see this being better?

When do you see this being better? You can play Upstarts and this card too. At least Dark Sarcophagus does not give +1000 to your opponent's life points. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Upstart's 1k heal is usually not enough to change the outcome of a duel, sometimes not even enough to keep your opponent alive for one more attack. It almost is a literally free draw that lets you run a 37-card Deck. As for this, it's just too slow since Upstart and other cards exist. Not saying it should be too much faster, since Exodia's mere presence is a problem when it comes to cycling cards such as this. You could give yourself a bit more control over what you banish, but I personally wouldn't want to see this as a D.D. Capsule/Sarc lovechild, so don't let it be an eventual search without any limitations like those two are.
shadychaosblack
this card allows you to basically draw 2 cards ill code it and see how it plays
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
this card allows you to basically draw 2 cards ill code it and see how it plays This is only because of proximity of this card's adding effect to the Draw Phase of your next turn; it doesn't really count as a pseudo-Pot of Greed because one of the two cards is gained through the drawing mechanic of the game (or, if you want that draw to count, then Pot of Greed would technically give you three cards then). You don't gain any more cards from this than you do with Upstart Goblin.
