Seanoow
Yall remember Jinzo? Of course you do. Level 6 dark machine 2400 Atk 1500 def. Trap cards are negated. Time to start the BS. Welcome to the JNZO Banned deck. Janzo: Level 6 light machine 2400 Atk 1500 def. While this card is face-up on the field, neither player can activate spell cards, the effects of all spell cards are negated. Jonzo: Level 6 fire machine 2400 Atk 1500 def. While this card is face-up on the field, all monster effects are negated except for monsters with all the letters "J N Z O" in their original name. Jynzo: Level 6 water machine 2400 Atk 1500 def. While this card is face-up on the field, no monsters can be summoned, except for monsters with all the letters "J N Z O" in their original name. JINZODIA META SUPREME: Level 12 divine machine 4200 Atk 3500 def. This card can only be normal summoned, and only while you control the following cards whose original names are: Jinzo, Janzo, Jonzo, Jynzo. Monsters you control whose original names contain all the letters "J N Z O" are unaffected by all effects except for the effects of "Limiter Removal". When this card is summoned, target one "Limiter Removal" in your deck, graveyard, or banished zone, activate that target then send it to the graveyard. While this card is on the field, you can not lose the duel.
Toffee.
Jonzo:Level 6 fire machine 2400 Atk 1500 def. While this card is face-up on the field, all monster effects are negated except for monsters with all the letters "J N Z O" in their original name. The problem with this card, is this:except for monsters with all the letters "J N Z O" in their original name....None of your monsters are named "JNZO", and even if you want to call bullshit and say monsters with those specific letters, then this card won't negate the effects of any monster with a name that starts with any of those letters. You have to also take into consideration the OCG and how it uses it's names as well, or else you run into these sorts of issues. Seanoow
I was thinking about a way to try and get those letters to register properly, this was the only idea I could come up with, I suppose it would have been better wording if the text read "except for monsters whose original names contain the letters J N Z O." But even then the wording is awkward. My initial idea was for a set that revolved around card names as opposed to types, attributes, etc, but not like older decks that have specific names, something like an effect that has a benefit for monsters from different sets but share something in their name (ie red eyes, blue eyes, galaxy eyes. But not 'dragon' support). I know the text needs some work, but this isn't the first crazy idea I had which has trouble with the text. XD. That said, the reason I put this set in this forum wasn't because they were over powered, it was because I am trying out some new text that has not really been used. Thanks for the feedback? I am just not sure how the words I did choose initially could be confused with the card's original name, as it does refer to the -letters- in the name, meaning that any card that contained those letters would also be considered.
