Fire Formation - Tenki

Recommended Posts

I remember when this card came out, Constellars (or the Sacreds, as they used to be known) would play them even though they only had 1 target because Kaust was that important.

Then they were pretty much forgotten, because Konami decided to release the same archetype again with better typing and more consistency, and that was that.

Also searches Tengu, which is a good card or something, and the 2nd best kind of Koa'ki Meiru.

I didn't forget them. My Constellar deck is fully capable of playing in the metagame, with my experience and knowledge pretty much putting me ahead of the curve.

I think he meant how Konami released tellarknights, who are arguably better at what Constellars do. But to be fair, Constellars retain a couple of perks, such as easier access to the Rank5 pool, Pleiades and additional searchers like Tenki. Plus they benefited from the Sanctum engine until Moralltach was hit; well, they still can use it as a source of Level5 LIGHTs, but it is certainly not as aggressive as before.

Back to topic, not much has changed for Tenki, as far as I know. It is still as good as ROTA and makes a cute engine along a teched Bear. Sure, it doesn't have as many targets as ROTA, but it is a nice boon for decks that have at least 1 good Beast-Warrior, such as the aforementioned Constellars, X-Sabers, Koa'ki Meiru, and of course Beast-Warrior decks, including the recent Yosenjus.
