Pay half of your Life Points; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck with a different name from that Fusion Summoned monster, by banishing the Fusion Materials used for the Fusion Summon of that Fusion Monster from your Graveyard. You can only activate 1 "Divergent Fusion" per turn.I'd love some help on the OCG.The idea is for, in Frightfurs or HEROs, to Fusion Summon 1 monster, then Fusion Summon a monster with similar requirements.For example, Fusion Summoning Elemental HERO The Shining with Bubbleman and Neos Alius (a HERO and a LIGHT monster), then using Divergent Fusion to get out Elemental HERO Absolute Zero, since it can be made with the same materials (a HERO and a WATER monster).Or, in Frightfurs, Fusion Summon Wolf (Sabers and at least 1 Fluffal), then use this to Fusion Summon Tiger (Sabers and at least 1 Fluffal).Discuss. Darj Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 So, it is more or less a Miracle Fusion only available to Fusion archetypes whose Fusion Monsters share materials, or have a "generic" Fusion monster (such as that announced Cyber Rampage Dragon). Since not all Fusion archetypes can use it, it is only live after you Fusion Summon a monster first, and as a Trap is a bit slow, I think it can get away without the LP cost. As for OCG, assuming it banishes the materials from the grave like Miracle Fusion, how about something like this? Activate only when you Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster.
