VCR_CAT Posted April 3, 2015 Report Share Posted April 3, 2015 Frontline Combatant Level 7 EARTH ; Machine/Effect 2800/2000 This card can be Normal Summoned without Tributing, but its original ATK and DEF are halved and its Level becomes 4. If this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard or Tributed from your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. This card cannot attack the turn you use this effect. Yeah, I felt like making another machine. Sue me. Yeah, I felt like making it work really well with Fortress too. Sue me again. Anyways, there's something about the monsters that can be summoned without tributes but then they're weaker that really gets to me. With this guy I felt like I'd give him a lot of uses in decks that make use of cards that require tributes or discard effects. Of course, to make sure he's not super OTK fodder, I did need to throw in that clause about not being able to attack. Based this guy just a little on Frontline Observer; in the way that Observer is the scout, Combatant is the front-line fighter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
