ihop
I'm crap at using paint So this engine (3 Sanctum, 2 Ignition, 2 Scythe, 1 Morall, 2 Beagall) is being used quite a bit in Shaddoll as well as Chronomaly which is finally a deck now, since Scythe is a very good card and it also allows you to gain synergy with sided Lancea which is nice. Discuss the engine or the archetype, if you wish.
Darj
I think it can work just fine with 1 Beagalltach, because drawing into a copy of it, or any Artifact for that matter, can be awful. Also, I would add 2 Double Cyclones to the engine instead of running MSTs. Last year I played with the engine and found that Double Cyclone greatly helps with dead-drawn Artifacts and can combo nicely with Ignition; x2 Ignition/x2 Cyclone has worked well for me, and should be more than enough of backrow removal in the main Deck. Issue with Double Cyclone though is that it relies on the opponent somewhat. If you come up against Nekroz or most Shaddoll builds you're gonna have a hard time activating Double Cyclone at the right time. Maybe a few formats ago when backrow was more of a thing then Double Cyclone would have been good, but now now. Heck, even having to main MSTs for the Artifact engine is a bit of a setback. The problem I'm seeing is that Lancea is only good against decks that the Artifact engine in general is not good against (ie. Nekroz). This means you're hindering yourself game 1 just for a couple of funky plays with Lancea.
Darj
Yeah, that makes sense; with not enough opposing backrow, Double Cyclone will barely be live. But if you are maining MST (deck designed for lower or casual tiers), then I suggest to try Double Cyclones instead.
ihop
Just don't run MST in the first place - Ignition does that anyway. I also wasn't suggesting maindecking Lancea because that's very mediocre, but when it's sided in games 2 and 3 against Nekroz it's a lot easier to take advantage of.
