So, originally this card had another effect, but I realized that it might have been a little bit too good that way. It was suppose to affect all monsters on the field, but Yang Zing could easily abuse this by giving their Spell/Trap immunity and what not to monsters that way. Here's the original version:

 

Until the end of this turn, all face-up monsters currently on the field are treated as Synchro Monsters.

 

Here's the actual version:

Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, it is treated as a Synchro Monster.

Not sure why you'd run this, but suppose you're splashing a Meklord, you could have this card around to create a target to absorb.

You know, as an inconsistent combo.

I guess it makes it easier to get out Synchro Material that has to be a Synchro monster. Other than that, though, I can't think of too many other interactions.
