Trebuchet MS
You can Tribute 1 Fish-Type monster, except "Invasive Pterois"; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, but it cannot be used as Material for a Synchro or Xyz Summon this turn. You can only use this effect of "Invasive Pterois" once per turn. If this card is Tributed for the Summon of a WATER monster, or to activate a WATER monster's effect: You can target 1 Set card on the field; destroy that target.
So I looked at the image and thought to myself, "That's a lionfish. What else besides their poison are they known for?" A brief research shows a few species of lionfish to be invasive. Hence the name. Pterois is the name for the lionfish genus. With the requirement being "Make a LV4 WATER monster", I figured I'd create a Fish monster to work in Coelacanth Decks. To reflect the name, the card has the ability to eat another Fish to SS itself from the Graveyard. Thing just won't stay dead. But perhaps that's a good thing, as you swap out smaller things you've Summoned with Coelacanth to get a live attacker. Pterois has been made a Tuner in the off chance that you put it out with the other Fish with Coelacanth. Due to having a better ATK than Royal Swamp Eel, ability to recur itself, and the lack of a Synchro Summon restriction, many would tend to want to use Pterois over Eel for its reusability. Hence the restriction that, if you revive Pterois, you can't Synchro or Xyz with it for the turn. Then there's a final removal effect, primarily to give back some card advantage if you Tribute it off to Coelacanth's protection effect. It's not just Coelacanth you can use it for. Mobius or Poseidra do other things on Summon, so Pterois can help chip in nearly anywhere relevant.

Progenitor
So.....it kinda forms it's own little Garunix Loop? I mean it's not bad. But it really doesn't do anything impactful since you can't really use it for anything once you summon it. It's basically an alternative to Royal Swamp Eel in most Superancient OTK decks. I don't know if it opens the doors to new combos, but it just seems to underpowered.
