ITT: [El Shaddoll Wendigo] has a better effect and locks bounce/spin

1 "Shaddoll" monster + 1 WIND monster
Must first be Fusion Summoned. Cards cannot be returned to the hand, Deck or Extra Deck by your opponent's card effects. During either player's turn: You can target 1 monster you control; this turn, it cannot be destroyed by battle with an opponent's Special Summoned monster, also it is unaffected by their effects. You can only use this effect of "El Shaddoll Wendigo" once per turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Shaddoll" Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; add it to your hand.

(Artwork is original Wendigo flipped horizontally. Slightly different name to make the card a bit more legit as a retrain)

I think most, if not all, of us know how Wendigo is just underwhelming and not even good enough at what she is supposed to do, which is walling.

This is an attempt at not only improving her main effect, but also make her more useful against certain matchups through a lock effect, in a similar way to how Anomalilith messes with Necloths; hence the added lock on bouncing, spinning and recycling, which should stop decks such as Ritual Beasts (flavorful) and Yosenjus.

Anyway, discuss Wendigo (if there is anything to discuss), this hypothetical fix, and/or what would you personally do to make her better.

It locks Triverr and stuff which is really cool, but it's so passive that it's still a bit of a sitting duck. The other issue is that there are hardly any good WINDs at all so you'd have to make it with Core or Nephe, most likely.

Yeah, not having a competitive or decent WIND engine or techs is also an issue. I was thinking in what sort of WINDs you could use, but sadly I have not come up with anything solid yet. The closest I can think of is a Yosenju engine with x2 Kama 1, x2 Kama 3 and x3 Tenki; you know, for double-summoning and summoning Chidori, or bouncing every turn.

Come to think of it, what can get over it? Nekroz cannot get over it at all, Tellars need destructive backrow, Yosenju need Tsujik+Kama 2 under Tenki, the mirror can't get over it, BA need Raigeki Break or Lake or something, Qliphort are fine with it. It seems really good, probably too good because it's effectively a 2800 djinn lock that can't be bounced or spun.

I did think of Harpies as well, but then I realized you would need to run other harpies to use Harpist more effectively, and well, the rest aren't really that good by themselves and probably wouldn't work as an engine. Either that, or use Harpist to pick a non-Harpie monsters, but I cannot find anyone that is worth it.

And I agree: the Yosenju theory "engine" doesn't look as great as other attribute engines and you may as well play a different Shaddoll variant.

EDIT:

Yeah, the added protection effect does take her to the next level, and I was wondering if I took it a bit too far. On one hand, it is too difficult to get over, but on the other hand, with 200 ATK it doesn't threat the opponent.
