If you have 2 cards in your Pendulum ZonesTarget 2 monsters in your Graveyard, each with a Level between (exclusive) the Pendulum Scales of the cards in your Pendulum Zones; add them to your hand.

one of the first pendulum support ever released, back then its considered bad because the pendulum scale gap arent that wide and pendulum monster doesnt hit grave that often, but now that pendulum are getting more xyz and fusion support, they hit grave more often, the scale gap also getting wider easily, will this card be useful now? especially in pendulum deck that are heavy on fusion and xyz such as D/D or magician

It's a bit of an awkward trade off because a deck full of pendulum monsters rarely gets use out of this because they're not in grave much, whereas a deck with mainly regular monsters and a smaller pendulum engine might not always have 2 scales. It seems like it'd be best in a pendulum deck which is actually allowed to regularly Xyz that really gets value of out its monsters, but that's not around yet.

Well, Performapal does that, and has done that for a while. The deck's all about shuffling its scales around and, as Marco mentioned, Skullcrobat Joker gives you an 8 for extra addage. And the deck only has 1 needed card that's not 100% confirmed for TCG release, though it was given a TCG name for the sake of SJ polls.

The issue is that the deck currently doesn't Xyz as much as before, so it's less live. Post-CROS, Pre-SD, it Xyz'd all the time and beat-em-up'd less, but you didn't have quite enough scales to justify it being live all the time.

If it shifts back in the favor of Xyz Spam, then this could be live... just doubtful.

This also reminds me about how P-Pal's playstyle has shifted every single release it gets.

pendulum magician is quite close i think, consistent 1-3 and 8 scale  while most of the monster is either 4 or 7, it can xyz easily

also D/D monster hit grave often, since they are reliant on the fusioning and often use hand material

tested this card on pendulum magician, its definitely a bit slow, but it allow you to xyz in peace since you'll be able to recover the material

back for more pendulum/xyz play
