It is unaffected by your opponent's card effects, also that monster is treated as 2 monsters for the Xyz Summon of an Xyz Monster. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Gagaga" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Gagagatome". You can only activate 1 "Gagagatome" per turn.
