As I just realized I'm really tired of being essentially the average 4chan poster (except less racist), I decided instead of just sitting in my own negative thoughts I'm gonna do something about it.

Time to get jacked.  Or, you know, at least not skeletor anymore.

I'd feel way too awkward going into a gym, so I'm gonna do what I can at home for now.  Gotta get those gains.

Discuss fitness and exercising and shit.

Lol muscle gain.

I'm good with just losing weight so I can actually cosplay an anime character.

Funnily enough, ironically cosplaying as Madoka or some shit is what originally (a few months ago) convinced me to get in shape.

So basically we're both gonna exercise so we can dress as cartoon characters.  Why the hell not.

Actually maybe I should gain muscle, since I'm shooting for Shizuo lol

That'd be an epic one if you could pull it off.  To look like him you wouldn't need to be super buff or anything, just somewhat fit.

I think I might do Roy Mustang for a con I might go to soon since I have short dark hair and I'm lazy af.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not sure if I still have it, but my dad has P90X, which I started doing a while ago but also stopped doing a while ago.

I need to start going to the gym, though. I have a shit appetite and working out will make me wanna eat enough to get my diet back in shape.

I tried P90X, lasted about a month.  That shit is too hardcore for people as out of shape as us.

Surprisingly, I've been going to the gym and steadily meeting a trainer for the past 2-3 months. It's pretty rough when you're there, but you begin to feel better about yourself over time as you gain muscle and lose weight. It's pretty neat.

...Or, you can do what I do, and actively ignore any and all changes in yourself until one day you look in the mirror and go "Who the hell is that?"

I'm sure my day will come soon.

As someone who's been working out and keeping fit for the upper half of around 4 years (wanted to join the military). You should. Healthy lifestyle equals a healthy mind. Less chance of all sorts of illness/organ failures.

Ironically, the /fit/ guide on 4chan is a great guide to getting there. And to make it even better, it's free! (inb4 I do this for free).

Don't expect serious results in a month. Keep at it and you should see good differences after about 3 to 5 months (everyone's different I guess).

You don't even need a gym to go to to get fitter. Get some clothes on, try jogging. Couch to 5k I've heard has really good results.

I've always said to myself I'll try and build some muscle some day since I have very little of it, but I guess I never get round to it. I do run a lot and walk a lot though, so I'm in good shape, although I have disproportionately huge legs.
