This takes me back. Really reworked them from what they had been back in 2011.


Thinking about adding 2 pendulum monsters with scales of 1<>5 but idk. Any thoughts? It's a bit of a weird idea that I'm not entirely sure I got my head wrapped around. The basics is just to have the monsters have good effects saddled with the fact that they have to leave the field on the turn that they're summoned.


I'm not exactly sure what they need or what I'll need to rework yet, so throw some ideas off me if you have any thoughts on it.

Slipstream Warrior
WATER / Level 5
[ Winged Beast / Effect ]

Cannot be Special Summoned. Must be Tribute Summoned by tributing a "Slipstream" monster. During the End Phase of the turn this card is summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. This card can attack your opponent directly. This card inflicts piercing battle damage. You can only control 1 "Slipstream Warrior."

Slipstream Swarm

During the End Phase of the turn this card is summoned: Send it to the Graveyard, and when you do, add 1 "Slipstream" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard, except by its own effect: Shuffle 2 "Slipstream" cards from your Graveyard into your Deck.

Slipstream Lynx
WATER / Level 3
[ Winged Beast / Effect ]

During the End Phase of the turn this card is summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. This card can attack your opponent directly. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Shuffle 1 "Slipstream" monster from your Graveyard into your Deck, then draw 1 card.

During the End Phase of the turn this card is summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. If this card is the only monster you control, you can Normal Summon 1 "Slipstream" monster in addition to your Normal Summon or set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) If a "Slipstream" monster(s) is sent from the field to the Graveyard during the End Phase, you can banish this card from your hand, side of the field, or Graveyard and 1 of those monster(s). During your next Standby Phase: Return that monster to the field in face-up Attack Position. This effect of "Slipstream Lemur" can only be activated once per turn.

During the End Phase of the turn this card is summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. This card inflicts piercing battle damage. During either player's turn, you can send this card from the hand to the Graveyard; negate the effect of all "Slipstream" monsters you control during the End Phase of this turn. During either player's turn, at the start of the End Phase: You can banish this card from the Graveyard; negate the effects of all "Slipstream" monsters during the End Phase. Only one effect of "Slipstream Gryphon" can be activated per turn, and only once per turn.

Slipstream Berseker
WATER / Level 6
[ Winged Beast / Effect ]

Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card is summoned: Send it to the Graveyard OR send 1 WIND or WATER monster from your hand to the Graveyard. This card gains 100 ATK for every "Slipstream" card in your Graveyard. If this card is Tribute Summoned successfully by tributing a "Slipstream" monster: You can send 1 "Slipstream" card you control to the Graveyard; banish all monsters your opponent controls until the End Phase OR negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent controls until the End Phase.

"Slipstream" monsters gain 300 ATK. If 2 or more "Slipstream" monsters are sent from your side of the field to the Graveyard at the same time: You can send all face-up non-WIND or WATER monsters to the Graveyard, and if you do, send this card to the Graveyard.

Slipstream Current
Spell / Continuous

"Slipstream" monsters gain 300 ATK. If a "Slipstream" monster(s) is sent from your side of the field or hand to the Graveyard, place 1 "Slipstream Counter" on this card for each card sent. "Slipstream" monsters gain 100 ATK for each "Slipstream Counter" on this card. If this card would be destroyed, you can remove 2 "Slipstream Counters" from this card, or send 1 "Slipstream" monster from your hand or side of the field to the Graveyard instead. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: target 1 "Slipstream" monster in your Graveyard with a Level equal or less than the number of "Slipstream Counters" on this card; special summon it, but its effects are negated until your next Standby Phase.

Slipstream Typhoon
Spell / Continuous

"Slipstream" monsters gain 300 ATK. If a "Slipstream" monster(s) is sent from your side of the field to the Graveyard during the End Phase: You can destroy 1 set card your opponent controls, and if you do, send this card to the Graveyard.

Jetstream
Spell

Target 3 "Slipstream" cards in your Graveyard; Shuffle them into the Deck, then Draw 2 cards.

Airblades
Trap / Counter

When your opponent activates a card effect: Return 1 "Slipstream" monster you control to the hand, and if you do, activate one of the following effects based on what type of card effect is being used:
- Effect Monster: Negate the Effect Monster's effect and return it to the hand.
- Spell: Negate the Spell Card's effect and shuffle it into the deck.
- Trap: Negate the Trap Card's effect and return it to its set position, and it cannot be activated until the End Phase of the following turn.
