Trebuchet MS
Metamorphing Jar LV2 EARTH [Rock/Flip/Effect] FLIP: Target 1 monster on the field; shuffle it into the Deck, then that monster's controller excavates cards from the top of their Deck until they excavate a monster that can be Special Summoned. Special Summon the excavated monster to its owner's side of the field, then place the remaining cards on the bottom of the Deck. 600/500 So I was contemplating things when I realized that nearly every single Jar monster that does something significant (barring the upcoming Pot of Taboos) has been banned. Albeit for good reason. Which got me thinking over how to make a more bearable Jar. To go with the whole Morphing Jar trend, I settled with a watered down version of Morphing Jar #2, being able to metamorphose only one monster, and placing the rest of the excavated cards on the bottom of the Deck so as to not fall into the Jackpot 7 combo. And just to ensure the metamorphosis completes and doesn't turn into a blank, it will keep going until you hit something that can actually be Special Summoned. (Anti-SS floodgates are another issue entirely.) Yes, there's a chance you'll hit the same monster. Yes, it does a number to Extra Deck monsters. Yes, there's a chance it'll whiff anyway if it tries to morph an Extra Deck monster on the occasion the Main Deck has no monsters it can morph into. Shit happens at times.
