Wrote these this morning.

 

Machina Engineer
Attribute: EARTH
Type: Machine/Union/Effect
Level: 4
ATK: 1700
DEF: 1100

Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 Machine-Type monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

You can only use 1 of these effects of "Machina Engineer" per turn, and only once that turn.
• Target 1 Level 4 "Machina" monster in your Graveyard, except "Machina Engineer"; Special Summon that target. It cannot declare an attack this turn.
• Target 1 Machine-Type Union monster in your Graveyard, except "Machina Engineer"; equip that target to a monster you control that would be an appropriate target for that Union monster's effect.
 

 

Basically a Wolfbark for Machinas, and the Roll-Out effect can be cute when playing non-Machina Machine Unions. It's also an Union to follow the theme of Gearframe and Peacekeeper.

 

Machina Grenadier

Type: Machine/Union/Effect
Level: 4
ATK: 1700
DEF: 1900
If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Machina" card OR is sent to the Graveyard for the Summon of a Machine-Type monster: Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand. You can only use this effect of "Machina Grenadier" once per turn. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 Machine-Type monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)
 

Now this is where things get fun:

- Revive it with Engineer, or Summon it through Megaform, Soldier, or even "Machina Armored Unit", and its effect will trigger.

- You can discard it for Fortress or Cannon and its discard effect will trigger.

- Equipping it as an Union and then unequipping it will also trigger its own effect.

Cool stuff.

By the way, chose a discard effect as a reference to Fortress' effect, And again, it's an Union to follow the theme of Gearframe and Peacekeeper.
