Josh Mathews and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero were on commentary... Dixie Carter walked out and stood near the entrance and set up the 2015 TNA Hall of Fame announcement. Dixie said many are worthy but one stood above the rest. A video package aired naming Jeff Jarrett the 2015 inductee...

 

Josh and Pope stood in their studio and hyped the upcoming matches being courtesy of Bully Ray. They said the King of the Mountain Match from Slammiversary will be shown, plus Eric Young vs. Rockstar Spud in a chain match, Bobby Roode vs. Matt Hardy in a tables match to determine the No. 1 contender for the TNA Title, and Tigre Uno has a message for Donald Trump...

 

1. Bram vs. Magnus in a street fight.

The wrestlers were brawling at ringside. Mathews brought up the mystery female who will join James Storm in his feud with Magnus and Mickie James. Magnus performed an early superplex, then caught Bram with a boot to the face. Bram came back and tossed him to ringside.

 

Bram pulled weapons out from underneath the ring and slammed a cookie sheet over the head of Magnus. Bram pulled out a trash can and slammed it over the back of Magnus. A short time later, Magnus came back with a missile dropkick off the middle rope.

 

Magnus put a trash can over Bram's head and then slammed a chair into the can a couple times. Magnus performed a top rope elbow drop for a two count. There was a sloppy ref bump. Magnus had Bram pinned, but Earl Hebner was slow to make the count and bram was able to kick out. Bram low-blowed Magnus and covered him, then Hebner made the three count...

Bram beat Magnus in 6:15.

 

After the match, Bram left and then James Storm headed to the ring and slammed a cowbell on the back on Magnus's head. Storm said Magnus would know who his partner is by the end of the night. He said Magnus and Mickie might want to stick around to watch it play out...

 

Eli Drake made his entrance carrying his crutch as footage was shown of him turning on Drew Galloway last week. Drake said everyone has been asking him how he could turn on his friend. He said he is not a creature of circumstance but rather a creator of circumstance. He said he created a circumstance that was advantageous to him.

 

Drake said he used The Rising for everything he could. He said the fans may call him a jerk, but they are no different than he is. Drake said all of the fans have called in sick when they were perfectly healthy. He said they've also used friends, and women are with men who pay their bills, yet those women are dreaming of him.

 

Drake said that as long as he is breathing, Galloway will never be the TNA Champion. Drake said it's not that Galloway isn't good enough, it's that he won't let him and that's just a fact of life.

Galloway made his entrance and spoke from the stage. He said he brought Drake into The Rising because he knew he had the killer instinct. Galloway said he didn't know that Drake wanted to be a big, bright, shining star.

 

Galloway said people think he's older than he is because he's been wrestling since he turned 16. He said he is only 30. Galloway said he's been depressed and drank a bit too much since Drake turned on him. He said he wanted to beat Drake's ass, but he's decided to let the fans decide what they want him to do to Drake. The fans chanted "kick his ass."

 

Galloway said it appeared to be unanimous. "I'm going to kick your ass. Galloway said if Drake wants to be a star so bad, he'll make him famous. Galloway entered the ring and ducked as Drake swung the crutch at him. Galloway threw punches at Drake, who came back with shots of his own.

 

Drake picked up a piece of the crutch, but Galloway blocked it. Galloway went for his finisher, but Drake avoided it and slipped to ringside. Galloway broke the crutch and threw a piece of it toward Drake and yelled, "You're a dead man"...

 

Mathews hyped Tigre Uno addressing Donald Trump's statements about Mexicans. He also hyped Taryn demanding a confrontation with Gail Kim inside a cage...

 

Highlights aired of Brooke defeating Taryn Terrell to win the Knockouts Championship with some help from Gail Kim... Mathews hyped some presumably awful Destination America show called "Pit Wars"...

 

Christy Hemme stood near the entrance for a "Pit Wars" segment, but she was interrupted by Taryn Terrell.

 

Terrell threw a fit and knocked over the grill that was going to be used for the "Pit Wars" segment. Taryn continued to flip out as she, Jade and Marti headed to the ring, which was surrounded by a cage. Brooke came out and said she's never been prouder of herself and the fans are happy because she's the new Knockouts Champion.

 

Taryn continued her crazed rant. "Oh my God, you're so scary," Brooke said in a mocking tone. She told Taryn that if she wants the title to come get it. Taryn went to ringside. Gail Kim's entrance video played and she ended up inside the cage with Marti and Jade.

 

Gail beat up Marti and Jade while Taryn screamed at ringside. Brooke went after Taryn, who ran around the cage and then headed toward the stage. For some reason, Brooke stopped going after hear. Gail stood on the ropes and Brooke held up her title belt on the floor...

 

Mathews hyped the upcoming matches and segments...

 

The broadcast team set up the King of the Mountain match main event of Slammiversary that started with the entrances...

 

The ring entrances continued and the King of the Mountain match aired. There was a commercial break during the portion of the match that aired in this quarter-hour.

 

The match continued past the top of the second hour and there was another commercial break during the match.

 

Jeff Jarrett won the King of the Mountain match by hanging the Little Red Toy Belt That Nobody Cares About on the hook...

 

A video package aired on Tigre Uno. He spoke in Spanish and said Mexico is a great country and the people love their country and work proud. The female narrator said they asked him for his thoughts on what Trump said. Tigre said most of the Mexicans who go to America are good people.

 

"They are good workers," he said. "They are artists. They are plumbers. They are carpenters. They are construction workers. Some are even landlords." He said they go to America to make a life for themselves. He challenged Trump to show up on Impact Wrestling...

 

Footage aired of Mickie James and Magnus challenging James Storm to find a woman to face the two of them...

 

James Storm headed to the ring with Abyss, Manik, and Khoya. Storm said there are a lot of lost people in the world. He said people need discipline, guidance, and leadership.

 

Storm spoke about giving Mickie and opportunity. He told the fans to stand up and put their index fingers in the air and welcome Serena. Former WWE Diva Serena Deeb walked out, but the fans didn't seem to recognize her with a full head of hair.

 

Serena told Storm it's a pleasure to be with Storm. She said she was best friends with Mickie for ten years and Mickie called her her protege. Serena said none of it matters to Mickie anymore. "You left me behind," she said. "You broke my heart." Serena said she was lost until she saw Storm.

 

Storm said that a real man wants his woman to stand right beside him, unlike Magnus who wants Mickie to walk behind him. Storm looked into the camera and addressed Donovan Aldis. He said that when the son of Mickie and Magnus is old enough, he can watch this and know that this is when his parents made their worst mistake...

 

2. Eric Young vs. Rockstar Spud in a chain match. Young wrapped the chain around Spud's face. Spud sold it by yelling and then by checking his teeth. Nice touch. Spud used the chain to pull Young into the ring post.

 

Young regained control and choked Spud with the chain on the floor. Josh made it seem like everything associated with this show was trending worldwide on Twitter. Back in the ring, Young put Spud away with a piledriver and a pin...

Eric Young defeated Rockstar Spud in a chain match in 5:45.

 

Mathews hyped Roode vs. Hardy in a tables match as the main event... Ring introductions for the main event took place. Mathews noted that the wrestlers were No. 1 and No. 2 in the Impact top five...

 

3. Matt Hardy vs. Bobby Roode in a tables match to become No. 1 contender to the TNA Title.

They fought at ringside and Roode suplexed Hardy onto the ring steps. Roode put a table on top of Hardy while he was still on the steps, then stomped on it.

 

Later, Hardy came back with a Twist of Fate inside the ring and then positioned the table. Hardy set Roode on the table and then went to the top rope and set up for a moonsault, but Roode recovered and knocked Hardy down. Roode tried to Roode Bomb Hardy through the table, but Hardy avoided it and backdropped Roode over the top rope and through a table on the floor for the win...

Matt Hardy defeated Bobby Roode in a tables match in 7:00 to become No. 1 contender to the TNA Title.

 

A preview for next week's show hyped Jarrett entering the TNA Hall of Fame, Magnus and Mickie vs. Storm and Serena in "one more match" and the return of Jeff Hardy...
