nodyyyy
Effect: Once per turn you can discard this card to negate the activation of an opponents Spell Card. During your Main Phase you can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Spell Card in your opponents Graveyard; banish it.
deathdragonv2
Well this is a lot more useful than the old Bolt Escargot which is very likely to never see the light of day again. Being able to discard it from your hand to negate a Spell card seems pretty fun. If a deck relies on its spells then this plays as a pseudo Shockmaster, though its more like an Effect veiler for Spells. I quite like its second effect also, it's not all that useful on a widescale but it would certainly hurt a few cards and could cause an issue if your opponent was planning on recycling their Spell cards, this card could have been fun against a Deck like Spellbooks that weren't quite as strong. If I was to make any change to this card, I would make it so if you negate a spell card your opponent cannot activate a spell by the same name that turn. So for example they cant activate 2 ROTA and still get 1 through.

deathdragonv2
Ah okay, I know it's kind of niche but its really hard to make these kind of cards good without being ridiculously overpowered. So tired to think of a way of giving it a small buff. I suppose another thing you could do would be to make it a TUNER like effect veiler but she is light and they have more support anyway. Thunders do need to be better and this card would help them.

goodfusion
Personally, I see no need for this to be a Tuner or to stop them from activating cards of the same name for the rest of the turn, as any deck can use the very easily, and if it is not put in the main deck it would be sided at 3, pretty much always. Negating Spell Cards is a very useful asset against many decks, especially with Pendulum Monsters becoming more common. Being a Monster, it is much easier to recycle than Spells/Traps, especially with Salvage (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Salvage) thanks to it's ATK and WATER Attribute. deathdragonv2
You know, I hadn't really considered how it might affect Pendulum monsters, with them being a relatively new mechanic in the game and me never using a pendulum deck I sometimes just clean forget about them. With that considered, making it a TUNER might be a step too far but If it were me I would keep the restriction of activating cards of the same name for the rest of the turn but that is only my opinion. As the person above me points out, this card does have great synergy with salvage. but I just like the idea of it being able to answer a card and your opponent not being able to get around it by either searching another or something.
