Blake
She maaay be back in vogue. For now, as Guiturtle may or may not change this. She's a level 4, she contributes to burst kills, she's a beast, and, most importantly, she's a high scale that isn't Lizardraw (bar Skull for obv reasons) who doesn't suck. You can usually go +2 or so, and fairly often go +3-4 on T1 (more on T2 if opening is strong enough), with most of it based in the hand, but this often leaves a Lizardraw to either:Be popped by Sorceror, thus not achieving full value. Left on the field, vulnerable fuel for wavering, making full value more difficult to achieve. Some hands can avoid the above (Sky Arc + Secondonkey in addition to other stuff you do), but this gives you a prime card for the former, though the latter isn't helped as much. Being level 4 and a beast is fantastic, as it means popping it gives you more R4 fodder, should you need it. Going to test 1 or 2.
Wildflame
I run 1 in Mages & Pals. An extra Wizard target, nice scale, and overall not a sucky card at all.
BlackBeartic
I've always ran 3, but that was before all this new stuff came out.Probably will end up dropping it to 2 or 1 eventually.
