Kind of like a Safe Zone situation, but different at the same time. It prevents you from running over the card, but you can attack directly instead.

 

 

Activate this card by targeting 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it cannot attack, also its ATK and DEF become 0, but it cannot be targeted for an attack or your card effects. If that monster is the only monster your opponent controls, you can attack your opponent directly. You can only control 1 "Crystalized".

It almost becomes dead weight but you also realize that the affected monster's effects can still apply.

I'd prefer if it added more restrictions like, cannot be tributed or used for a summon, or even prevent your opponent's card effects from targeting it. The fact that it doesnt negate effects makes me think its very inferior to fiendish chain, that can also stop attacks. But I like how you can use this during the damage step, thats about the only positive thing i can say. Not sure if the meta has space for purely atk-decrease cards like this (The stalling wouldnt be a problem for most of them, they can either banish, tribute, overlay the monsters affected by this, so yea...fiendish chain seems like the better option.)
