Raidraptor - Target Flag

Recommended Posts

Activate this card by targeting 1 monster your opponent controls; draw 1 card and reveal it. If that target leaves the field: Destroy this card, and if you do, look at your opponent's hand, and destroy all the cards among them with the same card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as the card you drew by this card's effect.

Going to eat so i'll update this later. To sum it up, a crush card that nets a draw and can possibly kill your opponent's hand if their monster leaves the field. More to it than just plot

Damn.... i forgot to put (anime) in the title, my bad.

wait, so its not only giving you free draw, but potentially wipe your opponent's hand if you draw the right card and can kill the target? scary....

also weird that it being a RR card but has completely generic effect with no relation whatsoever with RR....

It is kinda weird isn't it.

I skimmed through the script and idr seeing anything about the second part of the effect... then again Shun was probably so eager to expose he didn't really care to say the rest as his only goal was to see the polymerization

Poly was the only card Dennis had in his hand when the second effect went off. Since Shun had drawn a Monster with this effect, there was nothing to destroy.

This is a plot device card...but a damn powerful one.

As it is it's generic though.

They must change it to be RR specific. Maybe something like "if you control a Raid raptor monster or something".

Makes way more sense now.
