Dragulas Posted October 11, 2015 Report Share Posted October 11, 2015 A Rank 8 version of Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon A combination of Void Ogre Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend (on steroids) [spoiler=Lore]2 Level 8 monstersIf this card is Xyz Summoned by using a DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster as a Material: You can destroy all other monsters on the field OR all Spell/Trap Cards on the field, then inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed. Monsters other than this card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. During either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up card on the field; negate its effects. If you activate and resolve this effect while you have no cards in your hand, neither player can activate cards or the effects of cards with the same name as that target while this card is on the field. Face McShooty Posted October 31, 2015 Report Share Posted October 31, 2015 It's not bad, but I honestly think that the part about "no other monsters can attack" should be changed to "This monster cannot attack the turn you activate this effect" because think about it, you just dealt 2700 (if full field of monsters) or 3600 (full back row, including field spells). Besides MOST cards that have field wiping effects or pretty OP'd effects don't let your monster attack the turn you activate the effect. A perfect example of that is BLS EotB. But that's just my opinion, nice card though.Changing the attacking restriction to him instead of the other monsters could make it even worse, especially if you choose and resolve the backrow destruction (4 more monsters that can attack, potentially). Thats very subjective though. The card is generic but to use that blow up effect requires a significant investment, so its a reward for actually summon it that way, decks that can summon and exploid this can be teledad, beelze turbo, or resonators (asuming you run the red dragons) and all those variants, they arent relevant and will spend too much resources to pull it out. About the potential burn damage, if you nuke the monsers you will deal 2400 at most 99% of the times, there will be an empty zone on your side because you XYZed, with the backrow if you actually pull this out with your opponent having their full backrow zones with cards, he must have something to stop the dragon, if you cant counter a card with 5 backrow (eve though the card can handle 1 of those by its negation) you deserve to be heavy stormed. also such scenario wont happen that often.The potential max masive burn you can inflict is no likely to happen, and since the attacking restriction is a condition if you summon this in m2 (asuming you declared an attack) you wont activate anything Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
