Ok so here is my thinking behind this set - basically i had this idea for a set on robotic exoskeletons for insects , i would really appreciate any helpful criticism people could offer thank you.

If a level 3 or lower Insect type monster you control is targeted for an attack you can negate that attack then equip this monster from your hand to the monster targeted for attack , it cannot be destroyed as a result of battle as long as this card is equipped to it.

1 'Mechasect' tuner monster + 1 or more Insect type non tuner monsters.
As long as this monster remains face up on the field all insect type monsters on your side of the field cannot be destroyed by battle.

3 level 3 monsters
Once per turn you can detach 1 xyz material from this card to activates its effect , send the insect type monster on the field with the lowest attack to the graveyard and increase this monsters attack by the amount of the monsters attack that was sent to the graveyard with this effect.

2 level 3 monsters
Once per turn you can detach 1 xyz material from this card to activate its effect , all face up monsters currently on your side of the field except this card become the same type as the detached xyz material monster , if a monster was already that type it gains 500 attack.

So if you equip 1 Level 3 Insect-Type monster with Mechasect Scarab, Spider, and Beetle, that monster is unaffected by both Spells/Traps and cannot be destroyed by battle and if you equip it with Bee, it cannot be destroyed by monster effects. It is absolutely overpowered due to these effects that don't really have a cost to it or some sort of restriction. Also they negate the effects according to what their equip affinity is. However I do have to say that there is always Castel, the one who unbreaks these effects, but even so, these should have a cost or a more specific affinity than "unaffected" like targeting or destroying. Or you can make it so only 1 monster can only be equipped with 1 of these.

The synchros are overpowered because if monsters are going to give immunity they should only give it to themselves, or have costs. Otherwise use "destroyed by" or "targeted by" because "unaffected by" is really strong. There is a reason why that type of effect isn't used often and if it is, that is usually their only effect and it also usually affects themselves only.

Well, protecting a level 3 or lower monster might seem a bit obsolete to me, because they have low stats and it sacrifices one "Mechasect" monster, but the Synchros are too powerful, especially "Mechasect- Praying Mantis", because it enables all insect type monster to attack twice, meaning if the player have 5 monster, they can conduct 10 attacks in a single turn, a better option is to increase all "Mechasect" monster attack by some amount or only one monster can attack twice.
