Lore: If a face-up monster(s) you control is banished by a card effect: You can draw 1 card for each card banished by that effect. You can only use this effect of "Cards of Dimensional Insurance" once per turn.

 

Something that I was initially going to make to combo with Cyber Eltanin, but I suppose it has other uses.

I would probably add "and only once that turn" to the OPT. Reason being if this card isn't limited to 1 per deck then if you've got 3 on the field you can quickly draw a lot of cards.

May not need it as it relies on banishment from the field, however combined with a Blackwing deck (Blackboost) or with a "Cyber Dragon" deck, (Cyber Valley/Cyber Dragon Nova it can be a way to draw a very large number of cards at once.

Cyber Valley and Blackboost both allow you to draw up to 2 cards already by banishing monsters from the field, so Blackboost/Cyber Valley + 1 "Cards of dimensional insurance" = a 4 card draw, + 2 CoDI = 6 card draw etc. Cyber Eltanin summon + full field + 3 CoDI = 15 card draw + a possible full field clearance from Eltanin's effect. (combine this with CD Nova and that's a real possibility to get it out with all the cards you will have, and you have an almost clear field with 6700 (2500 CE + 4200 CDN) damage and an almost limitless hand to counter any possible spells or traps they might have left).

I do like the idea for this card, its just very open about what can activate it and the potential for much easier OTK by with that many cards being drawn at once.
