Nephilim of Ancient Souls

Mana Cost: {W}{U}{B}{R}

Power/Toughness: 2/2

Legendary Creature - Nephilim

 

Resonance (If this creature is blocked by a creature that shares a color with it, this creature gets +X/+Y until end of turn, where X and Y are the blocking creature's power and toughness, respectively.)

 

Trample

 

Prowess (Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.)

 

Whenever Nephilim of Ancient Souls deals combat damage to a player, put target creature from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.

 

 

Nephilim of Piercing Eyes

Mana Cost: {U}{B}{R}{G}

Power/Toughness: 2/2

Legendary Creature - Nephilim

 

Resonance (If this creature is blocked by a creature that shares a color with it, this creature gets +X/+Y until end of turn, where X and Y are the blocking creature's power and toughness, respectively.)

 

Trample. Haste

 

Whenever Nephilim of Piercing Eyes deals combat damage to a player, you may look at target player's hand, then draw X cards, where X is the number of cards in that player's hand.

 

 

Nephilim of Living Sands

Power/Toughness: 3/3

Resonance (If this creature is blocked by a creature that shares a color with it, this creature gets +X/+Y until end of turn, where X and Y are the blocking creature's power and toughness, respectively.)

 

Trample. First Strike

 

Whenever Nephilim of Living Sands deals combat damage to a creature or player, put that many 1/1 colorless Sand tokens onto the battlefield.

Trample. Hexproof

 

Whenever Nephilim of Creeping Mists deals X combat damage to a player, you may cast target instant or sorcery card with converted mana cost X or less from a graveyard without paying its mana cost, then copy that spell. You may choose new targets for the copy. If that card would put into a graveyard, exile it instead.

 

 

Nephilim of Vicious Hunger

Power/Toughness: 1/1

Legendary Creature - Nephilim

 

Resonance (If this creature is blocked by a creature that shares a color with it, this creature gets +X/+Y until end of turn, where X and Y are the blocking creature's power and toughness, respectively.)

 

Trample

 

Nephilim of Vicious Hunger enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it, where X is the number of cards in your graveyard.

 

Whenever Nephilim of Vicious Hunger deals combat damage to a player, put that many +1/+1 counters on it.

 

 

 

 

Figured I'd create new versions of the 5 Nephilim, since the game afaik is missing 4-color commanders.  Yes, I'm aware they're dead, but for a flavour justification, these could be them way back when before they were sealed. 

 

The Nephilim all have the resonance keyword ability, which basically means that it can always overcome a non-deathtouch creature that shares a color with it in combat, putting it just a step below deathtouch.  They also all have trample, which aids in triggering their abilities.

 

Each Nephilim has an evergreen keyword ability that is found in three of its colors, and a final non-keyword ability being related to the fourth color.  Vicious Hunger (alt. form of Witch-Maw) is the exception, having a non-keyword ability which represents its Sultai colors (the Graveyard stat boost).
