[spoiler=Monsters][spoiler=Yinsects]Yinsect - Sun Bringer[spoiler=Lore](This card's Attribute is also always treated as DARK.)

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 EARTH Insect-type Level 4 or lower monster from your hand or Deck in Defense Position. During the turn you activate this effect, only Insect-type monsters can be Summoned. If this card is banished or sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Yin-Yang" Spell/Trap card from your Deck to your hand. Only 1 effect of "Yinsect - Sun Bringer" can be activated per turn.

 

Yinsect - Elder Wurm

[spoiler=Lore](This card's Attribute is also always treated as DARK.)

You can place this card (from your hand or Graveyard) as a Continuous Spell in the Spell/Trap Zone to either side of the field by sending 2 Spell/Trap cards on that side of the field to the Graveyard. During the second End Phase after this card was placed on the field by this effect: Send this card to the Graveyard. Depending on whose side of the field this card is on, apply the correct effect(s):
• Original owner: You can Special Summon this card from your Spell/Trap Zone as a monster in Defense Position.
• Other: During each End Phase of this card's current controller, destroy 1 monster on this card's current controller's side of the field (chosen by the original owner of this card).

Yinsect - Shell Legion

[spoiler=Lore](This card's Attribute is also always treated as DARK.)

When an EARTH Insect-type monster is Summoned, except "Yinsect - Shell Legion", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand).

 


[spoiler=Yangsects]Yangsect - World Eater[spoiler=Lore](This card's original level is always 12. This card's Attribute is always also treated as LIGHT.)

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing any number of EARTH Insect-type monsters you control or in your hand (min. 1 "Yangsect" and/or "Yinsect", except "Yangsect - World Eater"). You can only Special Summon "Yangsect - World Eater" once per turn this way. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you Summon this card. (This effect cannot be negated.) If this card is Special Summoned: Place cards from the field underneath this card face-down, up to the number of monsters with different names that were banished for this card's Summon. This card gains ATK/DEF equal to the number of face-down cards beneath this card x 800. (This effect cannot be negated.)


Yangsect - Lantern Sage

[spoiler=Lore](This card's Attribute is also always treated as LIGHT.)

You can discard this card during either player's turn to activate 1 of the following effects. There must be at least 1 "Yinsect" and 1 "Yangsect" monster in your Graveyard to activate and resolve this effect.
• Add 1 "Yinsect", "Yangsect", or "Yin-Yang" card from your Deck to your hand.
• No player can take more than 2000 damage this turn.

 


Yangsect - Aurum Mantis

[spoiler=Lore](This card's Attribute is also always treated as LIGHT.)

You can reveal 1 EARTH Insect-type monster in your hand except "Yangsect - Aurum Mantis" and send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard; Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card is sent to the Graveyard or banished; Destroy 1 card on the field. There must be another EARTH Insect-type monster, except "Yangsect - Aurum Mantis" in your Graveyard to activate and resolve this effect. Only 1 effect of "Yangsect - Aurum Mantis" can be activated per turn.

 

 




[spoiler=Spells]Yin-Yang Gale Fury[spoiler=Lore]Shuffle up to 3 "Yinsect" or "Yangsect" monsters from your hand or field into the Deck; Destroy cards on the field, up to the number of cards shuffled by this effect +1. "Yin-Yang Gale Fury" can only be activated once per turn.


Yin-Yang Blitz

[spoiler=Lore]Until the end of this turn, if an EARTH Insect-type monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle, all battle damage inflicted is doubled. At the End Phase of the turn this card was activated, destroy any monsters you control that inflicted battle damage. Only 1 "Yin-Yang Blitz" can be activated per turn.

 

 

Yin-Yang Synthesis

[spoiler=Lore]Once per turn, you can reduce the ATK/DEF of one of your EARTH Insect-type monsters to 0 until your opponent's End Phase; Special Summon 1 EARTH Insect-type monster from your hand or Deck, but it cannot activate its effects this turn or attack.


Yin-Yang Nest

[spoiler=Lore]Once per turn, you can pay 500 LP; banish 1 Level 4 or lower EARTH Insect-type monster from your Deck. During your next Main Phase: Special Summon any monsters banished by this effect (even if this card is no longer on the field). If this card is destroyed: Return all of your banished monsters to the Graveyard.

 




[spoiler=Traps]Yin-Yang Quickfire

[spoiler=Lore]When a card or effect would remove EARTH Insect-type monster(s) you control from the field, except by battle: Pay 2000 LP and tribute 1 EARTH Insect-type monster from your hand or side of the field; Negate the card's activation and/or effect, and if you do, destroy it, and if you do, destroy cards your opponent controls and/or in their hand, up to the number of monsters that you control that would've been originally removed from the field. "Yin-Yang Quickfire" can only be activated once per turn.

During your opponent's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material; Banish any number of DARK Insect-type monsters in your Graveyard (min. 1), and if you do, change the battle position of monsters (up to the number of monsters banished for this effect) to face-down Defense Position, and if you do, they cannot change their battle position until the end of the turn. (This is a Quick Effect.) Once per turn: You can banish any number of DARK Insect-type monsters from your hand or Graveyard; Banish face-down cards on the field face-down, up to the number of DARK Insect-type monsters banished to activate this effect. Each effect of "Dynastes, the Absolute Lunar Yinsect King" can only be activated once per turn. You can only control 1 "Dynastes, the Absolute Lunar Yinsect King".

 

Allomyr, the Yinsect General

[spoiler=Lore]1 EARTH Insect-type Tuner + 1 EARTH Insect-type non-Tuner monster

(This card's Attribute is also always treated as DARK.)

Once per turn, you can equip up to 3 EARTH Insect-type monsters from your hand or Grave to this card; This card's ATK/DEF is increased by 500 for each card equipped by this effect. Once per turn: You can destroy any numer of cards equipped to this card; Destroy cards on your opponent's side of the field up to the numer of cards destroyed to activate this effect.

 

Mantodea, the Yinsct Demolisher

[spoiler=Lore]1 EARTH Insect-type Tuner + 1 EARTH Insect-type non-Tuner monster

(This card's Attribute is also always treated as DARK.)

This card can also be Special Summoned by banishing any number of Insect-type monsters in your Graveyard. If Special Summoned this way, this card's ATK/DEF becomes the number of monsters banished to Summon this card x 800. If Special Summoned this way, you cannot activate any other effects of this card that turn. If Special Summoned this way, only this card can attack this turn. Reduce the ATK/DEF of all monsters your opponent controls by 500 during each of their End Phases (permanently). The first time each turn this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. You can only control 1 "Mantodea, the Yinsect Demolisher".

 

 

 


 

[spoiler=Yangsects]Lucanid, the Indomitable Solar Yangsect Ruler[spoiler=Lore]1 EARTH Insect-type Tuner + 2 or more EARTH Insect-type non-Tuner monsters

(This card's Attribute is also always treated as LIGHT.)

This card's Synchro Summon cannot be negated. When this card is Summoned, you can banish 3 LIGHT Insect-type monsters from your hand or the Graveyard; Your opponent cannot activate effects or cards until the next Standby Phase. If this effect is activated, only this card can attack this turn. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once in addition to its 1 attack per Battle Phase. If you use this effect, other monsters you control cannot attack this turn. Only 1 effect of "Lucanid, the Indomitable Solar Yangsect Ruler" can be used per turn. You can only control 1 "Lucanid, the Indomitable Solar Yangsect Ruler".

 

Avectr, the Yangsect Lancer

[spoiler=Lore]2 Level 4 EARTH Insect-type monsters (min. 1 Yangsect)

(This card's Attribute is also always treated as LIGHT.)

Once per turn, youc an destroy 3 DARK Insect-type monsters in your hand or on the Field; Double this card's original ATK until the end of the turn. If this effect is used, this card cannot attack directly, and other monsters you control cannot attack, until the end of the turn. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster; Inflict piercing battle damage.

 

Vespaeus, the Yangsect Paladin

[spoiler=Lore]2 Level 8 EARTH Insect-type monsters

(This card's Attribute is also always treated as LIGHT.)

During either player's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material; Summon any numer of "Hornet Tokens" (Insect-type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 1900/DEF 0) to your side of the field. During either player's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material; Destroy any number of EARTH Insect-type monsters you control to destroy the same number of monsters on your opponent's side of the field. Each effect of "Vespaeus, the Yangsect Paladin" can only be activated once per turn.

Why don't you post it with lalalalalaalala{/img]?

I can't read few of them (the text is too small for me to read, especially those ED monsters, too much effect with a small text) Can you at least post the text? So i'm doing a few or your cards . . . (either that i can read or that i found something need fix)

 

Sun Bringer: I see an abuse! *Myrmeleo* other than that . . . hmm, maybe some low level Naturia (but seems unlikely). So it's good (key card here)

 

Elder Wurm: Well some wording fix . . . you can't Special Summon monster to S/T Zone, but you place it like "You can place this card (from your hand or Graveyard) to either player's Spell/Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card . . ." and this ". . . during the 2nd phase after this card is placed by this effect . . .". Interesting card actually, but the last effect (Raigeki-like effect) is too much (it's already eat opponent's 2 Spell/Trap Cards, and now popping all monsters? Either change it to only face-up monsters or destroy 1 monster instead.

 

Lantern Sage: The last effect . . . so let's say if you attacked by 2 monsters with 1900 ATK and the damage should be 3800 what happens? So you just take 2000? (1900 1st attack and 100 2nd attack?) other than that seems fine. (duhh quick-effect searcher, never seen that before~)

 

Aurum Mantis: Wew, too generic (LS would love this) maybe need requirements? (like revealing Ying/Yangsect from hand? or having it in your grave?)

 

Gale Fury: It's too weak but i like the Quick-Spell . . . basically just a -1 card, you're not gaining anything. Maybe this would be better imo "Shuffle up to 3 "Yingsect" or "Yangsect" . . . . . Destroy cards on the field up to the number of cards shuffled by this effect +1" (refer to Igknight Reload)

 

Quickfire: Woaaa . . . it's really evil . . . i like that. The wording seems a bit weird. So "remove" basically if your insect would be destroyed/sent/banished/returned/shuffled from field? That's good . . . but i have issues. Is it the same as Reborn Tengu? ("leaves the field") If so, shuffle effect like Castel doesn't work (card shuffled to Deck doesn't count as leaving field) But your wording is different (not "leave the field" but "remove") so i wonder?

 

That's all from me, well . . . i can't read the ED monster's text  . . . srry u.u

 

I like the idea of summoning from Deck (i mean the Spell/Trap) but not too broken. (still balanced somehow)

The images are a bit too big to post them as such.

 

These were originally meant to work with stuff like Retaliating "C"/Maxx "C"/etc, but Myrmeleo would also work, oops.

 

I'll probably nerf Elder Wurm's pop to just one monster then (of the original owner's choice).

 

Yep, that's the intention for Lantern Sage's effect.

 

Oops, forgot about generic overlay problems, yeah, will fix.

 

Hm, I'll probably do that then, for GF.

 

Quickfire is meant to be able to work against anything that would remove, meaning shuffling/destruction/banishing/Tributing/etc. So yes it would negate Castel.

 

I'll put up the lores for the cards.

 

EDIT: Updated all with lores, and fixed effect for Wurm/Gale Force.

Okie~ Leeeeet me continue what i'm unable to do yesterday. (Since you already put the lore/text)

 

World Eater: Wow new effs, "underneath"? I like that (so like attach of Xyz Material, but not sure about the ruling). My issues with this card is 1 ATK/DEF. Well . . . You can deal (e.g 1601 damage) to your opponent, but what if they activate A Hero Lives after that? So . . . (Let's say his LP is full) 8000 - 1601 = 6399 then divided by 2 6399/2 = *error, Konami LP mechanics can't comprehend it*. Just make the ATK and DEF 0 or maybe 100.

 

Dynastes: My favorite boss here, disrupting opponent's play! Eww . . . but the cost is too much, banish for changing to face-down, and banish again for 2nd eff. But yes Nest best friends~

 

Allomyr: Duhh . . . 3.5K beater or devastating pop'r. Since it needs specific materials so, yes good.

 

Mantodea: Yep, end game boss. But the last effect . . . hmmm, y'know this card can potentially reach high ATK, so the last effect is kinda useless (remind me of Five-Headed Dragon, high attack but the effect kinda useless) instead of battle protection, maybe card effect protection is better imo.

 

Lucanid: Oh god . . . glad it needs to banish specific 3 LIGHT Insect-Type, if not that would be evil.

 

Avectr: It's meh . . ., cost is too hard (because of "hand or field", while Lucanid can use resources from the "hand or Graveyard"), so yes better with banishing 3 DARK Insect-Type from your hand or Graveyard.

 

Vespaeus: *gulp* just one word, OTK! Considering it's hard to summon here (i suppose?), so yes needs awesome effect too.

 

The whole idea is unique (double attribute, SS from deck) but yes, talk about consistency, i find it hard (that's what i think, i dunno), since you won't be running a Deck with just Yinsect or Yangsect but both of them (especially those ED monsters that needs specific attribute activate). But yes because of that, making this archetype more interesting to play.

Dunno just an idea, what if there is a monster or Spell/Trap that can change the attribute of Yin/Yangsect monster on the field, hand, or Graveyard? That would help to those cards that needs specific attribute to activate.
