CinnamonStar
Well I guess there's not much to add about this one. I've got quite bad insomnia since... well almost ever. The reason why I posted this is that it's getting quite annoying right now.So except pills and such stuff, do you have an advice for me? Or maybe you have to deal with a similar thing? Junk Raver
Just stick with it Im an insomniac. I sleep for only a few hours each day, usually 4, and stay awake till 5am before sleeping, and in most cases i have trouble sleeping. ^_^
Cyber Altair
i can hardly sleep, i think it started when i was 7-8, maybe even way before. I just go with it, ya i always get a bad headache but i think it has helped my style, i think it's because of my lack of sleep i have such a sexy, dark look. I just deal with it, do the same. and i don't think you should take pills, just try sleeping.
CinnamonStar
Personally I've got no problem with it, since I've been dealing with such things for a very long time now and I have no other choice but to continue this way. The thing is just that at the moment I'd really need some rest because of some stuff I'm involved in. Some people are just...well slowly losing their patience right now and if my state of mind doesn't improve they probably won't agree to deal with me anymore. The worst time is around 4 a.m. Usually I can't sleep because I just think too much (I know this sounds strange/stupid/whatever but well...that's how it works). And IF I manage to find some sleep I've got quite annoying nightmares (I don't even know HOW I could even THINK about such disgusting crap) and I wake up don't ask me how many times. But well... I don't know what to do about that and I don't think I'll find a solution, so...
Sander
If this keeps on, you should see the doctor...or try not to think (as strange as it seems, it works a little bit)
CinnamonStar
Nah I've seen more than enough doctors and such people for diverse things and I don't trust them anymore. The things which are currently bothering me most are those nightmares. I don't mind nightmares, since they just come and you can't do anything about that. However, I don't really like disgusting things, which just come and stalk me, but which I can't find any reason for.Actually a friend of mine gave me a book by Sigmund Freud for my birthday. You know, those theories about the meaning of dreams. I don't think it helps, but I'm currently reading this every night. At least it keeps me busy and it's even well-written. EDIT: Well maybe tonight then... I'm off now, so cya^.^

The Slime Lord
I have sleeping problems. Is it a problem to be able to sleep for about 16 hours straight? I've done that before. 4 AM to 8 PM. What a waste of a Sunday :/ Besides that, on weekdays, I get an average of five hours of sleep. On weekends, I can get up to... 16 hours... I recommend just not drinking caffeinated drinks. HORUS
My friend is an insomniac. She seriously can't sleep. "How do you stay hyper all the time, then?" "A doctor asked me that the other day."

Cyber Altair
it is, strange enough most insomniacs like myself can sleep for a long time if they could sleep, i may sleep late but i can sleep for a very long time *seriously, once i slept for 22-24 hours*. Funny ain't it.

Unless you hate reading books dont do this, if you do pick a boring book, it will put you to sleep ;). eg:- Dr Phil's Family First *Unless you are a father/mother with a bad family*
CinnamonStar
Alright I'm going to explain it a last time for those like NP Sage: -->I'm dealing with it for a very long time and I've got no problem whatsoever with it myself. However some people don't... If my mental state doesn't improve they probably won't agree to deal with me anymore. Like f.i. the redaction... You know I actually need some money to survive, but during the last weeks my state has become a bit worse, which is why my performance is somewhat... well decreasing. I want to keep this work as well as the others activities and I don't want to get any other warning, so I need to find a solution.

Your brain usally stays awake because either you are thinking too much, your stressed, your excited or you are involved in something so dont do something you will keep thinking of, you wont be able to sleep. CinnamonStar
Yeah that's the problem. I'm just thinking too much, especially at night and I don't even know WHY and HOW I could even come up with such things. Sometimes I'm kind of scarring off myself. I don't know any soft music' date=' except classical...[/quote'] as an alternitive to pills i would say make sure u get what u need to be done during the day, take a shower, get something to drink (like water), turn off the lights, flip on music that you like not something that you gonna want to dance or sing to, do something that cant be said on the forums, and pass out.^ thats basicly what i do but i talk to laura a good hour and a half before sleeping
