This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by tributing "Elsword" from your side of the field. Once per turn you may reduce the attack and def of this card by 500 to prevent any monster effects.

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by tributing "Elsword Magic Knight" from your side of the field. Once per turn, you may pay 500 life points to decrease the atk and def of a monster your opponent controls by 300. If the atk of the opponents monster would become 0 as a result of this effect, then it is removed from play.

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by tributing "Elsword Sheath Knight" from your side of the field. Once during your standby phase you may pay discard 5 cards from the top of your deck. Increase this card's atk by 100 x the number of stars for each monster card that was discarded in this way.

Basically, this works like a stacking/evolving effect which depends greatly on the basic material monster, if it's destroyed then it's farewell... still it can be quite formidable if the summon works out.

I usually build my decks around the stack/evolve types since they end up being very tough to deal with in the long run. It can be tedious to get out cards like that which is why I would usually always have spell or trap cards as support or methods to speed up the special summon process.
