The Slime Lord
The thing is, you can't do anything about it. You can't stop the hundredish people from joining everyday. You can't stop eight year olds from from posting stupid threads in the wrong section. You can't force people to read stickies and already existing threads and posts. You can't force people to read the rules. You can't force people to start using correct grammar and spelling. You can't force people to choose good usernames (if that has anything to do with it :/). You can't do anything about n00bs. You can try, but you won't be able to do anything about it.

If they fail, they arent able to post until they take it again.
The Slime Lord
If that's even possible, bring it up with YCMaker. It's been suggested that new members will automatically receive a PM with a link to the rules, but I don't think that has been implemented. If we could PM them the test and the rules then we would filter out members and also raise expectations for members.

Static
When I registered as "Straight 66k Pimp" earlier today, I was not required to validate my account via email, or at all for that matter. This change may be the problem, and why annoying children are posting constantly. Sanji is not the worst mod on this site, (by no means the best either, but my point is still valid) *SIGNS IT BIG!*

Nice, and my posts were relevant, it just seems rather n00bish coming from someone with so few posts and who had joined today. Had I said that, it would have been different. And the only reason I made the account was because I saw "there are 65,999 members of this forum, the newest member is...." then I made that account, I DIDN'T HAVE TO VALIDATE, and I was member # 66,000 according to the forum statistics. And yeah, the problem is the validation not being required anymore.

The Slime Lord
Yeah. Anyone can. But remember it's a bannable offense, so I advise that no one should do it. (I take it the only reason Static did it was to see how easy it is for anyone to make an account?)
Tefached
It has come to my concern that n00bs are joining YCM every minute. This was not a problem until they started posting' date=' which has infuriated several members, citing them to leave. I believe that n00bs should be punished for the following: Bad GrammarStupid Usernames(Like DDDDDDDDD)Useless PostsUseless Topics [/quote'] heres what should be different than that bad grammar---you cant change that there are five year olds that probably go on here cause their parents are lazy drunks who dont pay attentionStupid usernames--yes that should be punishable useless post and topics---yes because they should have read the rules heres what should be addedUseless reps, revenge reping and pointless repsdisobeying rules disobeying correct forms[contest forms, graphic request etc....]spammingnot reading ruleschain sigs[like when it says: this is bunny, put him in your sig so he can take over the world] thats what should be punishable. Fh-Fh
I agree with slimey. n00bs join the sight every day. You can't force them to read rules, let alone follow them. I remember when I was a n00b I didn't know what spam was. I didn't know where to find the rules. I didn't even introduce myself. peeple dont hav 2 use good gramer. People can curse whenever the fu*k they want. And have stupid usernames. The truth about life is; you don't have to do anything except be born and die. Thank you. your welcome
SushiTheLegend
I honestly think we need some sort of "thing" in the registration as well as the email validation to help with this problem.
Lilrow
The rules and FAQ should be forced into the face of anyone who registers and they should be more suspectible to punishment during their first week or so. Also, we should have a warn system.
