Guest Imperiused
This is a small expansion of the two Prime Material Archtype monsters, Prime Material Dragon and Prime Material Falcon, in a way that I thought was true to the original spirit of the cards. Since both the originals were different types, attributes, and levels, I took this non-pattern and made it into one, so each has its own attribute, type, and level. The artwork is limited by what I had to work with, but I generally tried to keep up the pattern of bronze-ish multi-limbed designs going. The card effects too kind of fall in line with the others by countering certain cards on the field, and their own support lets you get them when you really need them. I might add more support later but honestly I wanted these to be more the type of cards you'd see complementing another archtype rather than building a deck around them. And for that reason I've done some hybridization down below to increase their flexibility. Prime Material HomunculusType: Monster Type I: Gemini Type II: Psychic Attribute: Dark Level: 1 Attack: 550 Defense: 150Card textThis card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is a normal monster on the field, you can normal summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with these effects:• During either player's turn, when a card or effect that would require a player to add cards from their Deck to their hand is activated, you can pay 800 Life Points to negate its activation, and if you do, destroy it.• During the End Phase, if you do not control an "Alchemist of the Prime Materials," banish this card. Prime Material CarpType: Monster Type I: Effect Type II: Fish Attribute: Water Level: 3 Attack: 1300 Defense: 900Card textAny attack that would inflict battle damage to a player instead would increase their Life Points by the same amount. When a card's effect to banish a monster(s) on the field is activated, you can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to negate its activation and destroy the card. Prime Material FoxType: Monster Type I: Spirit Type II: Pyro Attribute: Fire Level: 4 Attack: 1750 Defense: 1150Card textCannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand. When a card effect that doesn't target is activated, You can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard; negate the activation and, if you do, destroy it. Prime Material GolemType: Monster Type I: Effect Type II: Fiend Attribute: Earth Level: 8 Attack: 3000 Defense: 3500Card textCannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field by Tributing 2 monsters they control. You cannot Normal Summon/Set the turn you Special Summon this card. The controller cannot target monsters they control with card effects. Alchemist of the Prime MaterialsType: Spell Spell type: ContinuousCard textSpecial Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Spellcaster-Type/Earth/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). (This card is also still a Spell Card.) It cannot attack nor be targeted for attacks. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if you would send a card from your hand to the graveyard for the effect of a "Prime Material" monster, you can place 1 Prime Material Counter on this card instead. You can remove any number of Prime Material Counters from this card to target 1 "Prime Material"monster in your graveyard whose level is equal to the number of Prime Material Counters removed; Special Summon that target, and if you do, destroy this card. Prime TransmutationType: Trap Trap type: CounterCard textIf there is a face-up "Alchemist of the Prime Materials": Reveal 1 "Prime Material"monster from your Deck or hand and target 1 face-up "Prime Material" monster; return that target to your hand (if you reveal a monster in your hand) or shuffle that target into the Deck (if you reveal a monster in your Deck) and place the revealed monster on the field, in the Card Zone which that target was occupying. (This is not a Special Summon.) Then, any other card effect(s) (if any) which were targeting the monster targeted by this card's effect now target the new monster. Edit: This is my first time posting in Multiples so if someone can show me how to hide the cards so that this first post is more manageable please do. The [ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] tags weren't working for me.
